I actually abhor courses that use fescue as the extended rough. It may as well be water because you’re not locating you ball if it goes in it. I’m a 16 handicap and I lost 6 balls that I wouldn’t call out of bounds. Nice track though and the cart paths and directions where to go were excellent

The track was tough with lots of water on the course. Over all the course was in good shape. The only complaints I can put in was slow play (5hr round) and geese that had several greens covered with poop.

I paid $27 for a twilight 18, and I don’t think I’d pay any more than that. The course design itself is nice. There are some great holes and a few challenging ones as well, but 2 or 3 of them were absolutely littered with goose poop, there were large divots on fairways and greens, and the pace of play was very slow. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I just wish the course was in better condition.

The course was a cool layout but in overall poor shape. Fairways were full of divots and the greens were in rough shape. Several just littered in goose excrement.

The course layout is great and a lot of fun. Bunkers are at perfect driving distances so you really need to plan your shots accordingly.

That said, the amenities are very average. Large bar, and decent prices, but selection is pretty limited.

Greens were completely random. Some were super fast and some were super slow. Also, there were 3 or 4 holes where the greens had dead grass.

The only staff interaction I had was with the starter and he was very uncaring, not very friendly or chatty, and very terse.

I expected more from a $60 course.

Course needs better maintenance in general. Also, adding some shade at tee boxes would be appreciated. It was 90+ degrees today and was not very fun waiting 5-10 minutes at every tee box.

All in all, I would play here again, just for the course layout, but only on deals when I can get green fees for under $40.

Played here several years ago...course was not nearly as developed (go figure)

Anyway, I'm not much for courses built right thru communities...just don't like the feel of walking right up to someone's back yard.

Course itself is decent with enough challenge, and I would recommend to someone with the disclaimer that you're playing in/thru a neighborhood.

Traveled to columbus from northeast ohio to play new albany links arrived an hour before tee time had a chance to grab a lunch in the pub. Started a conversation with the club pro I believe his name was Chris i asked him for a few pointers before we went out to play the course he stated it was link style with a lot of bunkers I believe he said like 70 around the course well I found atleast 20 of them myself. He also said course management is a must with many challenges along the way on many of the holes . This was the first time I played this course and will play again soon because I really tried to attack the course with high risk shot selection when i should have listened to the pro and did a much better job at choosing my shots. It is a wonderful layout but be happy to lay up when necessary because this course will hurt you if your not hitting the ball real well and get to aggressive. I normally play from the blue tees but with the advise of chris i played from the white tees thank god I listened to that information because while I had a awesome time at this track if I had played from the blues I hate to say I may have found a whole bunch of issues thankfully I did not.As far as the conditions of the course it was in good shape with all the rain they have had in central ohio some of the bunker were a little tough but the staff has been working on them some were in excellent condition so i would expect the rest will be fine in a short amount of time green were in nice shape but be aware of pin locations and play to the stick if not and you get on the wrong side of the flag you will have a long day on the greens not many straight putts 2 putting will be a victory at this place 3 puts i found to be my normal .Pleas do not get me wrong there are plenty of holes that you can score well on but there also is holes that if not played to spots and you try to get aggressive you will pay for it if you get lose. .Overall I had a great day with a wonderful lunch at the pub and the staff in the pub and around the course made you feel like you were at a private club and have been members for years i can not wait to getting back there to play again soon .

Nice course; challenging holes; greens and fairways in good shape. Don’t hit in the bunkers…haven’t been touched by maintenance crew this year :-(
