New Albany Links Golf Club
About
New Albany Links Golf Club sprawls across gently rolling hills covered with meandering creeks, mature trees, and native grasses and wetlands. There are also a number of lakes throughout that come into play on several holes. The golf course is a fair challenge but it prides itself on its playability. With tees ranging between 4,800 and 7,000 yards, the course accommodates a range of different skill levels. The layout features tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers throughout. New Albany Links Golf Club's 12th hole is one of the course's most memorable. It requires a long drive and an approach that carries past a long bunker and a pond to a narrow green. To the left is certain punishment but a tough up and down waits if you miss right.

Nice course
The pace of play could be better but other than that great course.
Tough course, greens are beat up, overall good challenging course. Inside staff comes off as annoyed they have to talk to you when checking in.
New Albany Links
Conditions were decent. Pace of play was slow for teeing off before 7:30am. 2 slower groups ahead. Took a little over 4 hours for 2 of us to play and we are by all means not fast or rushing through. I would suggest Rolling Hills or the Golf Club of Delaware. More affordable and in better shape.
Narrow tee shots
An okay course, with some poorly managed tee boxes and greens but a good fun layout that requires accurate tee shots. A lot of long grass and marsh type areas to lose some balls in so be prepared. Would play again but wouldn't be my first choice
A good course through a residential area
Hot hot hot, but the course was in fairly good shape with good greens and fairways overall. Some greens are completely overrun by geese and their remnants. A fairly good layout. Average value for the money but I would play again
Great besides the geese
This is a great course with challenging fairway bunkers and a little bit of water and elevation. I would give this course a perfect rating if it weren’t for the goose poop on a few fairways. Once that problem is taken care of, this course would definitely be worth the price of admission.
Update
Learned my playing partner tested positive for Covid the day after we played. My test came back negative and the only reason it did was a ride in a separate cart.
Cost an extra $10 to do so. Courses that nickel & dime you like this to have any chance of social distancing have no interest in golfer health or being a solution to slowing the spread of this virus.
Course definitely has potential but was in pretty bad shape. Multiple greens were completely overrun by geese include one green that was completely covered in geese poop. I've never seen something that bad. Has been extremely dry in the area recently thought so I have to cut some slack. However for $50 this course needs to be better.
Used to be a great track
Unfortunately it’s turned into a slow dog track.
Greens & bunkers in rough shape. Almost every green has multiple ground under repair spots & tons of ball marks. Bunkers have little sand, almost mud pits with bugs everywhere.
It took an hour to play holes 10-12. Pacing for a 3 hour back nine. We drove off the 13th tee and only passed 7 groups on the drive to the parking lot. Many seniors, no ranger.
Hot dog at the turn was great!
