New Albany Links Golf Club
About
New Albany Links Golf Club sprawls across gently rolling hills covered with meandering creeks, mature trees, and native grasses and wetlands. There are also a number of lakes throughout that come into play on several holes. The golf course is a fair challenge but it prides itself on its playability. With tees ranging between 4,800 and 7,000 yards, the course accommodates a range of different skill levels. The layout features tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers throughout. New Albany Links Golf Club's 12th hole is one of the course's most memorable. It requires a long drive and an approach that carries past a long bunker and a pond to a narrow green. To the left is certain punishment but a tough up and down waits if you miss right.

This course needs new management
The course looks under nourished and poorly maintained. Bunkers are not playable and there is crabgrass everywhere. Also charging 80 bucks is ridiculous for the quality. Won’t play here again
Horrible Shape
This course was dreadful. Fairways and greens were in horrible shape. Bunkers were gravel and dirt. Expected way better for new Albany with the cost of 18 holes. Won’t be playing there again.
Grounds need work
Course had multiple fairways with firework debris everywhere. Multiple sand pits abandoned. Every green had dead spots on it and were all covered in divots. A lot of the tee boxes hadn’t been touched up and I was always left with uncomfortable shots due to the lack of care the tee boxes had seen recently.
I’ve played this course before and it was great, well maintained. I love the course layout and it has some tricky fun holes. I just wish the conditions were better. Not worth the greens fees I paid.
Condition issues
The overall condition of the fairway and the greens of this course at below average. Not worth the $80 price tag.
Crap course for how much they charge
First off this course is trash. The fairways hand a a lot of divots, the fairways were brown and burned…the whole course is trash. The fact that they charge almost $100 on a weekend and almost 50 on a week day is laughable. Stay far away from here. I mean it. This course SUCKS.
Great first time experience!
Greens and fairways were in very good shape. The rough was exactly what is should be, Rough. The course has lots of unique holes. Lots of fun.
Not worth the money
Played this course with friends on Memorial Day and for the price it is a joke. It was in better condition during the winter time and is overpriced. Will not play again
Wet and windy
overall course was good with all the rain I expected better green and tee boxes. still was fun to play.
Closed range. Dirty tee boxes. Great course design, mid bunkers and mid fairways… no one fills divots. Friendly staff and cold beers.
Great early play
Course was in great shape, especially the greens which had been slit and sanded. Noticeably fewer ball marks than normal, which in the past has been the main complaint about NAL.
5 hour round on a Monday morning.
Pace of play was inexcusable. Entire course backed up because of a 2some with a 930 tee time. Rangers were clueless as to what to do. 5 hour round on a Monday when the course wasn’t even that busy. Bunkers were unplayable and needing attention. Greens were firm but rolling good. Tees and fairways were in good shape. But not good enough to justify a 5 hour Monday round.
Greens were great!
This is a great layout, with the only past complaint is that no one seems to fix their ballmarks. We’ve fixed 4-5 ballmarks on almost every green in the past . Today however, the greens were in excellent condition. Course was in the best shape I’ve played.
Great Course Bad Paths
The course is great, some of the tee boxes are a little rough but given the amount of rain we have had that’s not unexpected. Cart Paths definitely need work more than anything else on the course. Considering the price to play I expect them to be nicer than much less expensive city courses.
Course is definitely worth playing.
