New Albany Links Golf Club
About
New Albany Links Golf Club sprawls across gently rolling hills covered with meandering creeks, mature trees, and native grasses and wetlands. There are also a number of lakes throughout that come into play on several holes. The golf course is a fair challenge but it prides itself on its playability. With tees ranging between 4,800 and 7,000 yards, the course accommodates a range of different skill levels. The layout features tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers throughout. New Albany Links Golf Club's 12th hole is one of the course's most memorable. It requires a long drive and an approach that carries past a long bunker and a pond to a narrow green. To the left is certain punishment but a tough up and down waits if you miss right.

This course upkeep was horrible
Worst course I’ve ever been to. The course conditions were awful.
Kemper Sports needs to go!
This is a very challenging course that has unfortunately gone downhill since Kemper sports took over. Very clear operating costs were cut and there is little maintenance done. The pace of play is extremely slow and no rangers that push groups to stay on pace. Unfortunate for a course that used to be so well kept.
Great course but avoid at the moment because of conditions
Played this course before so I’m aware of its layout and conditions. But truly not worth the steep price they’re charging with the conditions it is in. Not worth $74 on a weekend. Many of greens have a large amount of dead spots and torn up. Didn’t have black tees out for no specific reason and won’t return till next year? Unfortunately some of the tee boxes were not in the best shape. Fairways were hit or miss. Most were in good shape but their irrigation problems that they’ve been having are definitely affecting it. Many dead spots where grass just doesn’t exist
Course condition
Lots of the fairway and greens had patches of what looked like diseased grass lots of brown patches all over staff told us there was some when we teed off and in the clubhouse But kinda disappointed first time this year played a lot last year her e
Course in terrible shape
Most of the tee boxes, fairways and greens were riddled with dead splotches where no grass was growing. Very disappointed. It was especially. bad trying to putt on the greens. Would have asked for a refund or at least a discount if I would have paid the full price instead of going thru Golf Now.
Dead grass
The dead grass on greens and fairways totally ruined the round. Until grounds people can get ahead of fungus? On greens and other dead patches on fairways spend your money elsewhere.
Course is in rough shape
Fairways are torched and the grounds crew seems to have dropped the ball compared to previous years. Even with a range route the pace of place is close to 25 min a hole. Started the round at 3pm for two people shooting in the 80s and we didn’t finish until 7:30
Surprising disappointment!
When we checked in the pro shop wired us that the course was a little rough because of a sprinkler system issue. We should have headed his warning because the course had areas where grass was missing or covered in Goose excrement. I advise to spend your money and afternoon elsewhere.
Price Needs to Meet Conditions
Played this course on a Hot Deal, and wanted to try a "Nicer" course in the area, given that this place is normally $75, I figured it would meet my expectations. Saying it's in rough shape is an understatement, the greens and fairways are dead, parts of the course are soupy which doesn't make any sense. It was overall a horrible playing condition, price should be $50 cheaper per round. My advice is to play a CBUS public course, you'll get much better value.
Horrible condition, overpriced and a waste of $
Greens are diseased, as well as fairways and tee boxes. The rough is like a bad back yard and this course has fallen completely by the wayside.
No longer worth more than $35-40 and for what they want to charge it should be a complete “stay away”.
Won’t be back…
Place has really gone downhill
I’ve played here like 8 times. Recently it’s in terrible shape. The tee boxes and all messed up, the fairways look like a war zone, and the greens are half brown and aren’t even level. Really a shame. I pay half the price to golf elsewhere for a course that’s in better shape.
New Management is Terrible
I used to enjoy coming this course. It had been over a year since I had played here, and I am afraid I will never be returning.
The new Management group is awful. I have never seen the course in worse shape. The driving range is closed, practice green sucks, tee boxes look horrible, greens are bumpy, bunkers are rocks, we teed off 20 minutes after our scheduled time. Oh, and it is $85 to play now.
I'll be driving further out of Columbus to play now. T
New Albany Links Condition
The course is a good course but in very rough condition. Burned out greens and fairways. Rock hard rough. Apparently the watering system broke and it 3 or 4 weeks to fix. Sad but I would not pay more than $30 to play it right now.
Course condition
Course condition was poor. Tons of missing grass. Staff was friendly but other members of the course seemed grumpy and as a single player, I felt rushed.
It’s like they stopped taking care of it
This course has a great layout and has been in excellent condition in the past but I played earlier this year and then again today and it’s almost like they don’t have a greens crew. The greens and fairways are burnt up all over the place, the rough isn’t cared for, the guy working the pro shop didn’t even acknowledge me standing there until he got done reading whatever was on his phone and then said “have fun, not sure what position the pins are today but you’ll figure it out.” For the amount of money you have to pay to play it’s not worth it.
