About
New Albany Links Golf Club sprawls across gently rolling hills covered with meandering creeks, mature trees, and native grasses and wetlands. There are also a number of lakes throughout that come into play on several holes. The golf course is a fair challenge but it prides itself on its playability. With tees ranging between 4,800 and 7,000 yards, the course accommodates a range of different skill levels. The layout features tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers throughout. New Albany Links Golf Club's 12th hole is one of the course's most memorable. It requires a long drive and an approach that carries past a long bunker and a pond to a narrow green. To the left is certain punishment but a tough up and down waits if you miss right.

Always in shape
Even with all of the rain that we’ve had the last three days, the course was in great shape. If we could only get golfers to help take care of it. Way too many not repaired ball marks and divots. Do your part players!!
Challenging but fun
Fairway and green side bunkers are plentiful and greens have some nice undulations
Disappointing but huge potential
I was kind of surprised about the condition of the golf course. On the Teebox there were hundreds of broken tees. Fairways showed significant sign where with huge patches oh yeah of dirt. Greens had dozens and dozens of divots not fixed.
It was a beautiful course with great potential it just definitely showed its wear and age

Poor value
significant burnout in the fairways. Weeds in the fairway. Cratered tee boxes. Canadian geese EVERYWHWRE. With good maintenance and better pace of play this course would be great.
New era needs to pony up for maintenance if they want to charge 31 for 9 on a weekday afternoon. Same with clover valley and royal american

Crap everywhere
Another Columbus-area course that charges $69 and doesn’t take care of their course. The tee boxes are uneven and haven’t been moved in weeks. The fairways are burnt and the greens aren’t cared for. I could understand if it was an exceptionally dry summer but beyond the first 3 weeks of June, it’s rained plenty. Don’t even get me started on the pebble traps that are supposed to be sand.
The only positive factor I can say was you had a cart girl with drinks come around. I saw her once though

Falling apart
This USED to be a fun, challenging course in good shape. Now it’s mostly trashed, bunkers are concrete, greens are mostly in disrepair, and the fairways are absolutely destroyed, with large sections of bare dirt. It’s honestly not worth $20 a round right now. Let alone the $50-60 they’re robbing people for. I really hope they fix their issues.
Edit: I’m sure the staff here is doing all they can. But unfortunately this seems to be going the way of other New Era courses. They buy a perfectly good golf course, make money until the course needs reinvestment, then they sell to a developer.

Decent option if the price is right. Friendly staff, nice layout, nice facility, major goose/goose waste problems, tees in rough shape, empty divot repair sand bottle in cart so lots of divots in fairways

Good course a little chewed up
The course was pretty nice but grass on the fairways were a bit chewed up.

Back to Play after 17yrs
Course not as nice as it was when I last played 2005. Decent layout and greens roll true. Sime fairways burned out.

good layout with challenging holes if you miss the fairway or hit over the green.
course needs to correct its geese problem....looked like a giant toilet bowl on some of the greens and around the ponds.

It's ok and not just because it is hard
Scorched grass tight fairways lots of ob hard compacted sands and hilage made it very hard to play but a better player will probably enjoy but it wasn't even an exceptionally pretty course. Would maybe return.
