Deer Track Golf Course

About
Tucked away on Cincinnati's east side, Deer Track Golf Course is one of southwestern Ohio's best-kept secrets. The 6,400-yard layout offers a fun yet challenging round with multiple tees. Players of all skill levels will enjoy the course. Water will be your primary concern with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. The signature hole, which is also the course's toughest, is a par-3 island green that will put your accuracy to the test. You'll also have to contend with a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the rolling fairways and gently undulating greens. In addition to the golf course, Deer Track also boasts a wide range of practice facilities including a driving range, wedge range, a putting green, and a short-game area that measures more than 50 yards.

Poorly maintained
Fairways had 50% grass. Bunkers had no sand but weeds. Greens were good though. Layout was too easy. Not worth the money. I’ll play again if it was $9.99 including carts.
Greens in great shape
Nice links style course. Greens in great shape .fairways getting a little rough do to the heat and rain.
would like to walk this course but we rode. Course was in fairly good shape. Staff mentioned some areas in the fairway were burned out due to excess rain and heat which proved to be true. Noticed that areas had already been prepared and seeded. Nice place and will come back.
Water water
The course was much improved from the last time I played but on a hot day of 90° there was no water to drink on the course.
This course is a little more difficult
Me and my husband love playing here. They have done some upgrades to make the course a little more difficult. Love the changes and the course!
Not for me
Slow pace of play. Waited on every shot. Our group lost balls all day just off the fairway . Could not find balls or too hard to hit out of US Open rough. Course layout was good but course condition tells me to play somewhere else next time.
Nice layout
I enjoyed the course. I wished some golfers would understand the meaning of pace of play. If you play slow let the single play through . It's not a hard concept to understand.
Spring golf
It has been a wet Spring. Most courses would be closed. It was great that they allowed us to play but we were advised about the wet conditions and long grass. Still a fun day.
Standing water
There was standing water on every hole. Zero drainage. So much so that they couldn’t mow the lawn meaning there was no fairways. Made it impossible to find balls that were lying the fairway. They should not have opened. I wish I would have gotten a refund.
Best shape in years
I have been playing Deer Track since it opened years ago. I believe it is in the best shape this fall I have ever seen it. it is not Augusta but it is fun to play when it is in this condition. The price is right especially if you get a hot deal on Golfnow.
Good Course
Nice track. A bit out in the country but worth the drive. Layout is fair and challenging at times. A couple holes can jump up and bite you, especially 16. One LONG par 3 but straight away. Rough was a bit spotty as were a few fairways. Greens were fast and very soft. I think the greens could be firmed up a bit and spread that water to the fairways. Overall I'd definitely go back but it's an hour drive from home. If your in Cincy worth the trip.
Challenging, Well-paced course.
Tee'd off at 8a on a Sunday and most of the courses we go to is jammed pack full of parties golfing. While there was a considerable amount of people on the course, the pace of play was consistent and fast enough for us. The course itself seems like it's always wet. This might be due to all the water on the course. I believe all but a couple of holes have some type of water on them. Good time. Will definitely be back.
First trip.
Round was a great bargain, as I snagged a golf now hot deal. The greens were in fantastic shape. They rolled quick and true. The course isn't overly long, but challenging. I finished the round in about 3 hours and it was very leisurely at that pace.
Nice sized hot dog in the clubhouse after the round too. An enjoyable day.
Nice course!
I played this course after it rained over three straight days, and it still played well. The greens were rolling reel good.
7 par 4s, 6 par 3s, 5 par 5s
Nice course, greens were good speed. Everything else was in ok shape, not great, not bad.
Fun layout, used every club in my bag. Already been back
Tuesdays you can call and play for 22 bux and get a free hot dog and drink and dont have to book online
