Deer Track Golf Course

About
Tucked away on Cincinnati's east side, Deer Track Golf Course is one of southwestern Ohio's best-kept secrets. The 6,400-yard layout offers a fun yet challenging round with multiple tees. Players of all skill levels will enjoy the course. Water will be your primary concern with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. The signature hole, which is also the course's toughest, is a par-3 island green that will put your accuracy to the test. You'll also have to contend with a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the rolling fairways and gently undulating greens. In addition to the golf course, Deer Track also boasts a wide range of practice facilities including a driving range, wedge range, a putting green, and a short-game area that measures more than 50 yards.

Great Country Course
Discovered an exceptional price on GolfNow for 18 holes with cart. Played midweek with my wife (beginner) and had a great time. Located south of Goshen and was worth the trip. Greens were consistent, and the course was relatively flat. However, I found it to be enough of a challenge that I will certainly play it again. If you have never played Deer Track, I suggest you give it a try.
course in good shape
played here before they changed tee box`s around, island green got me!!!!
deer track
The course is in great condition. The course has many challenges with water including a island green. The greens are large and run true. The course has plenty of length depending what tees you use. The course has a driving range, putting green and short game green to practice your chipping.
Hidden Gem
I played Deer Track for the first time per some good advice from a friend and all I can say is it's worth the drive the staff was very friendly the facilities were in excellent condition the driving range was well kept up and chipping and putting greens as well, I will play here for sure very soon
Lots of ponds
Best walking course in Cincinnati. Flat but interesting holes with many ponds to play over or by. Excellent greens for putting and to accept good approach shots. Tees to challenge both short and long hitters. Fairways are certainly not the best in town, but are being improved. Friendly service and no-hassle play are unsurpassed.
Gimmicky Course
Don't let the 6300+ yards fool you. This course boasts unnecessarily long par 3s, really short par 4s, and a couple more par 5s than usual. A couple dog leg par 4s are legitimately 90 degree turns with 50-yard approach shots. A lot of water out there. Pace of play was really slow and the ranger didn't really do anything to speed up the pace of play or let groups play through others. Cart also died on 15. The course was in really nice shape except for the 10th hole. Greens are very, very fair.
Great course for the money
First time I ever played there. Staff was by far the friendliest of any other course I played. Course has had some recent projects going on that once they are finished will make it one of the best around for the money
Needs a new grounds keeper
I have played this course a handful of times over the past 4-5 years. When I played yesterday I was very disappointed in the condition of the course. Lots of bare spots and torn up areas.
The tee boxes were also very torn up.
I just expected the course to be in much better shape than it was this early in the season.
Rough rough
The grass in the rough was very long. And the rough intruded into the fairways. If you weren't in the middle of the fairway you ball might be a challenge to find.
Pretty course, lots of ducks. Never saw any deer. Should be called 'Duck Trail'.
Poor playing conditions
The fairways and greens were in terrible conditions. Worst course I have played this year.
Great Staff
Had a great round at a great price. Jim McDonough, the PGA pro was helpful with course info and has a staff that was very friendly. Course conditions were good and the beer was cold. Had a great day.
Great Course
This is defiantly a challenging course and that's something every golfer wants. This is definitely a course that I will keep coming back to over and over again! I love this course!
Good course ... fairways a work in progress
We played after 10:30 am, course was open in front and behind. Holes were well marked and scorecard represented the layout well. They are still working on the fairways as mentioned online and Golfnow
Nice course, great staff.
Deer Track is a great course located in Goshen Ohio. It really is fair as most of it is open. There is a lot of water. It really helps you to dial in each iron for distance. The course has some spots that need fixed but it has been a project they have working on. The zoysia grass that is finished is great.
They have the friendliest staff around and the club pro(Jim McDonough) is more than willing to help wherever he can whether it be for lessons or ordering equiptment.
Try this place out sometime!
course layout good
As i was told this course is a work in progess, it is very playable but has a way to go. Good mix of open and narrow fairways Greens small to med. in size and lots of water, all and all it is a great course for the money.
good value
fairways are being preplaced with zoysia now. The ones that are done are excellent. This course will be a gem when renovations are complete.
Flat course, nice layout
There is water in play on quite a few holes. Good distance for overall play. Great course for any skill level.
Good Value, Fun Course
I like playing Deer Track. It is a fun course with a good mix of challenging and straight forward holes. I am glad they have joined Golf Now because they are now a great value course.
Great Course, Great Staff
We love this course, play at least once a week. Course is in great shape, hidden gem! Love & Hate relationship with that Island hole!
Great course with many fun
First of all, the staff is very kind and friendly- Excellent service! Although it needs some work on fairway, I think the grass and soil condition would not allow to do. All 18 hole's green is an excellent condition. There are many ponds which would be a challenging factor for beginner golfers. Overall, it is a nice golf course.
