About
Stonybrook Golf Club boasts seven sets of tees, making it a truly versatile course that any skill level can play. It has been certified by the National Golf Course Owners Association as being beginner friendly. The layout features wide fairways with generous landing areas leading to large, undulating greens that are bordered by intimidating bunkers and contoured mounding. The golf course is one of the longest in southwest Florida at 7,453 yards from the back tees, making it a long hitter's paradise. The difficult-to-read greens will challenge even the best players. The course wanders through a scenic landscape of pristine wildlife preserves. The sparkling lakes that are scattered throughout come into play, as do the abundant pines, oaks, and cypress trees.

Too Much Sand
Although a beautiful and extremely well groomed course, there are too many sand traps, especially on 11, 12, and 13. This took away from my enjoyment of playing.

Great Option for “Season Golf” SWFL
As a resident of SWFL getting a tee time on a descent public access course is quite challenging. Stoneybrook provided reasonable access, super friendly staff and a nice challenge for the day. Due to the amount of play this course gets there were definitely some ares which showed some significant wear. Despite that on the whole the course was in very reasonable condition.
I look forward to a return trip perhaps this summer when the seasonal traffic eases up.

Course layout and condition is good, and is playable for all abilities.
Pro shop staff not at all pleasant, however bag drop area folks were great.
Disappointing that at this price point a small bucket of range balls was $10 and you got to hit them into a lake. Additionally the balls were assorted junk.

What a great layout. Every hole is unique and challenging.
Fun but thirsty round
Played 18 and the course was great. Kept hoping the drink cart would come by, but never showed. Was told at the pro shop the drink cart would be on the course. VERY disappointed!
Nice course but pace of play really bad
Course is a nice layout and in pretty good condition. The only negative was the pace of play. Took about 4 hours and 40 minutes to play. Waited on every shot on every hole.

Greens were good
Some rough around greens was a little scruffy
But other then that all good
Nice but a little pricey
They were very strict with pace of play, which I respect. The course was nice, great challenges however for the price point i was disappointed with the condition of a few of the greens. Most were good but for the price point I didn't expect a few to be in patchy shape.
Would still recommend and would play again.
Great course - greens are great
Excellent on all accounts. The only issue is the golf cart seats have no cushion - very uncomfortable. Golf is awesome otherwise
