Stoneybrook Golf Club
About
Stonybrook Golf Club boasts seven sets of tees, making it a truly versatile course that any skill level can play. It has been certified by the National Golf Course Owners Association as being beginner friendly. The layout features wide fairways with generous landing areas leading to large, undulating greens that are bordered by intimidating bunkers and contoured mounding. The golf course is one of the longest in southwest Florida at 7,453 yards from the back tees, making it a long hitter's paradise. The difficult-to-read greens will challenge even the best players. The course wanders through a scenic landscape of pristine wildlife preserves. The sparkling lakes that are scattered throughout come into play, as do the abundant pines, oaks, and cypress trees.

Golfer Reviews
Beautiful day of slow play
Bad golf and slow play is better than a good day at work..I suppose!
Nice course
Course is in good shape as are the greens. Now that cost to play has reduced it is worth playing.
Water. Water everywhere
Lot of water each hole which makes it challenging will play when I get back..saw three alligaters which was a plus.
Great Course
Stoneybrook is an excellent course especially after April 15 when the prices drop substantially! Very nice greens and nice wide fairways.
I’d go back
This course was in very good shape, was playable for the high handicap and offered challenges for the lower handicap golfer. I would play again for sure when back in Naples
Returned
I returned after 25 years when the houses were being built around the course so it looked different. The course was in better than good shape. The pace of play was ok, probably due to it was very windy. The staff was very friendly. I would play it again.
Available, but basic, muni-style golf
Course layout was fine, with generous fairways and enough challenge. Course condition was average at best - not exactly what I had expected for this price.
Due to rain the day before,we were cart path only for our 1p tee time. Surprising, as the private course I live on here allwowed carts starting when they opened at 730a. It wouldn't have been so back, but the electonic fencing was on, and clearly wasn't operating correctly. On six of the holes, whilke on the cart path - the proper place - our carts shut down multiple time and we spent a fair amount of time backing up and trying to get the carts moving forward again. Not much fun, and easily correctible.
Last - you should know that while the course does offer water/ice at the start, they DO NOT provide cups, even when purchasing a bottled/canned drink at the snack bar.. Bring you own cup, I guess...
Great time!
We had a great time playing Stoney Brook. Staff was great. Course was in good shape especially the greens. Highly recommend it to any golfer.
Back again
It’s been over 25 years since I’ve played this course. Back then housing was still being built around the course. The course is one of the better ones in good condition. A couple of tee boxes had been worn down. The greens and bunkers are in great shape. The practice vacillates and staff are great. Even though I got a good deal, regularly it’s in line with what you would play during the high season in southwest Florida. Also it’s still windy.
Stonybrook Gc review 3/16/24
Nice layout of a course. Tees in good shape. The fairway grass on most holes was a bit uneven in spots. People do not fill divots. A lot of unrepaired ball marks and spike marks observed on greens. Pace of play only fair to slow due to several very slow twosomes ahead.
