Magnolia Landing Golf & Country Club

Wasn’t busy and we managed a good pace. Two greens were under repair and had to play temporary greens, otherwise course was in good shape.

Round comes with range balls, staff was friendly, a few greens were under repair but other than that the course was in great condition. Would definitely go again.

I was happy with the rate, the free balls on the range, and cart service. Except for two greens being redone the course was in nice condition. I miss all the woodlands that have been built on but I can’t blame them for adding homes. There are some challenging doglegs with hole 3 being especially daunting. (Hit you drive over the trees on this hole) to land on the right side of the fairway.

Greens were recently aerated and 2 are temporary - would have been nice to know that ahead of time?

Nice course. Would definitely play it again great day for Monday playing golf no push to get through from the staff and they had a very attentive cart girl. No complaints.

Played behind a a threesome and a foursome with nobody in front of them! If they didn’t hit the ball in the water they hit it in the woods! They were extremely slow and backed up everyone behind them! They took 2.5 hrs to complete their first nine! There was no starter or Ranger so thank God they only played nine!!

Always a fun experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our round. Temp greens on 14 & 17 didn’t matter.

We will certainly come back.

Greens have recently been aerated, and a couple on the back 9 were completely ripped up for repair. I can understand this happening, but they did not divulge this and the temporary greens would have been better off if they had just painted a circle in the fairway with the pin flag, but instead they scalped a circle with about a 30' radius and roots exposed.

The staff at ML are very friendly and helpful. They have a nice warm up area with driving range and putting green that comes with green fees. Unfortunately 2 temp greens and several water holes (that ate my golf balls ) prevented me from giving a higher rating. Good summer prices makes this a nice place to play.

Every fairway burnt out. Every green cratered with huge dead zones. You can't be charging the same $$ as Bobcat National, and have this as your tract.

Played course on May,28. Greens were punched and top dressed and virtually unputtable, Two greens were closed and dirt patch temporary greens were set up. Staff did not make us aware on this when we checked in. Avoid the course until greens recover and new greens are in play!!!

Course conditions were very good. However a couple of greens have some bare/rough patches which is a shame as the rest of the course is in great shape. Found the course quite varied a good test for all levels. You have to play this course a couple of times to understand the right places to play to. Overall very enjoyable course. Would recommend and play here again visiting from the UK.
