About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Pace was SLLLOOOWWW
Course is still looking great. Pace of play though was rough.

Great Value
Used Golf Niw app and played this nice course in Cantonment with friends. Staff was friendly as usual and course is in very good condition .

Competitive Course
I have played Cypress many times over the past several years. Parking really sucks. The fairways are in better shape but still need improvements. The “T” boxes show improvements and some have been re-sodded as you tee off on a few temporary ones. “T” boxes have always been a real gripe with me. Never will understand why courses make them so small, especially for the par 3’s since they (and the greens) get the most pressure. I would guess the management of this course probably never play here because if the did they would have completely removed ALL the cart paths and put in new ones. Probably why they haven’t painted blue, white and red markers on the cart paths. They are deplorable.and some are dirt pathways. I can imagine the beating the golf carts must take…that’s how bad they are. I avoid them. If you are playing this course for the first time directional markers as to where to go to the next “T” are lacking.The layout of this course is beautiful…it’s one saving grace.

Great course worst pace of play
One of the best courses in the area. The price is very cheap and with that it’s very busy even in the middle of a weekday. The pace of play here is extremely slow. I’m talking at least 5 minutes on the tee box waiting. Other than that it’s a really fun course to play. The staff is great!

Nice layout
The course has a nice layout and some very nice dogleg holes. Greens, while in good condition, were very slow. Overall for the money a great value.

#6 tee blocks
I am of an age that can't hit very far, but I love to play. The tee blocks #6 is sitting at very odd angles and am wandering if they could be checked out and leveled out like the long hitters on #'s 1,2,3,4,. Thank you for your intrest.

fun golf
good greens and fromt 9 good shape but the back 9 fairway were poor

2 nd year
This is the second year in a row we have played this course. Last year was on our way to Panama City for a week of golf and this years trip we decided to go back because we enjoyed it last year. For the price it was a 10 it’s just we played in February and the greens were a little rough. Overall we will probably play here again next February on our trip.
