About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Good value
The course is a good value for the money. Greens are in good shape. The course is a bit of a challenge with several heavy dog legs and hills. Will go again and would recommend to friends that want rates below $40 for 18 holes.

Played well!
We were a foursome and we followed a group of 5. They kept the pace well and did not cause any issue for us, The course has some challenging holes and some "hidden" hazards, But all very fair so it makes the fairways interesting. The most challenging part of the course was the greens that all varied a lot in their speed but the most difficult part of the greens was their contours,.
We all agreed that it would be delightful to return for another 18 holes,

Enjoyable Day
Course was in very good shape for this time of year
Greens were in great shape very fast also I think all but 2 were elevated very challenging overall not a much better way to spend a Tuesday afternoon

Decently priced course.
Greens run true. Fairways have tight lies. All elevated greens. Interesting holes. Pace of play can be slow with all the play they get.
I managed to leave my gps on the cart one day and figured it would be lost. Imagine my surprise when I asked a few days later and they had it for me. Honesty is worth a bunch. Thanks.

Enjoyed layout...A bit over booked pace was tough on blind holes golfers hit down on us on two occasions

Challenging
They should call this course 'rolling greens golf course'!!! The greens are very rolling and crowned.... very challenging!! Bit us all in the but! The Marshalls did a good job to keep the pace of play going. There was a threesome, a single walker, and two twosomes ahead of our foursome. Unfortunately there was some waiting on each hole.
