About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Constantly improving
I have been to this course a few times and every time I can see the hard work they’re doing to improve the course conditions
Best ball
We are 4 over the age of 80 that like to get out once a week for golf and much needed exercise. This course is ideal for us. The course was in great condition, fairways and greens. Would highly recommend it.
Old farts best ball play
We are the over 80 foursome that get out and play a best ball game weekly. This course is ideal for our game. The course is in excellent condition, greens and fairways. Just wish it were closer to Niceville. I can understand why it gets lots of play.
Very good condition!
Course is in very good condition overall! Greens are really nice and speed was on the fast side. Little busy but was aloud to play through a couple foursomes. Nice for a

I was visiting the area, escaping the hurricane in the Venice Englewood area. I did not know the course prior to playing there. Overall, I like this course. I was a little frustrated with the speed of the greens, very very slow and I’m used to very fast greens where I normally play. A couple of fairways had construction going on due to installing new cart paths. Temporary inconvenience.
I would play the course again if I was in the area.
Good value
Course is a good value for the price, greens and fairways are nice right now. Will be back.
