Golfer Reviews
Well taken care of!
First, they are working hard to get the course in shape for winter golf, greens were aeriated recently, and they were aerating the tee boxes on the day I played. Fairways were in great shape. Tuesday morning is for the men's group golf, they started on #10, we started on #1 and never ran into another group and never waited to take a shot.
Fun course to play, great for us amateurs, not a long course so it makes us feel good about our game. Love playing there!
Grass in the Fairways and good lies
Normally I only play this course for friends because for much of the year its looks beat up and the fairways have little grass. Pleasant to play it in nice condition. The greens were aerated and sanded but, with a few exceptions, putted reasonably well. They look to be very good after healing. My normal objection to slow greens is just always going to be because the clientele would revolt if the greens ran 10-12. Overall, pleased to see the course is being maintained well over the wet Summer months.
Fun Day!
Played with the Douglas's and a man called Star! Had a great time, as they are great friends, and we aren't afraid to make fun of ourselves and each other! That make's a great day at the course! We all could have played much better, but, having a relaxing day enjoying ourselves smoothed out the bad plays.
Very disappointed
Would not recommend this course...went at a 5:37 tee time and come to find out after a 45 minute drive they had a league going on so started on the back nine but all the pins were pulled...then started raining by the 11th hole..we paid $40.00 for 2 holes with no refund or credit...manager at the course didn't delete the golf times after the league started...so a complete wast of time and money.....and to top it off the same thing happened the next day...paid for 18 but had to play the back 9 twice because of league....very unprofessional.... will never play there again
Great Day At The Course
What can I say! How about "A Diamond In The Rough"! Consider this course my home course, usually playing here at least twice a week.
Meadowbrook golf course
Great course challenging holes great greens to put on.
Would Recommend!
If you've never played here, or seldom [once a year or so] played here, your missing out on playing on a nice friendly course. Owners have taken strides to improve their course over the summer. Only gave a 4 on the course conditions due to some fairway rough conditions. So, why not stop by and enjoy as I do!
Great Day At The Course
Although still damp and a few places still soggy after all the rain this area received in the past week or so, course was better than I expected! Friendly staff, clean carts, good amenities. I consider Meadow Oaks my home course and prefer to play there over most area courses. If you've never played here, at least try it, I'm sure you'll be back!
Didn't Finish
Course decided to close due to rain, we made it to #6..

Great course, challenging layout
Great for the money, the golf shop attendant was lost when trying to check in, but beaide that was okay, the guy was lost completely
Average Joe
We have played Meadow Oaks many times, but for some undefinable reason, it seemed a little less appealing today. We received a nice surprise when we checked in - 2 tickets for free draft beer or soda. Of course, we used them both and had a couple more beers (we normally return our kart and leave). Course conditions were wet in spots, the greens were inconsistent and the pace of play was slower than slow. At some holes on the front 9, there was a twosome and a single waiting at the tee box when we arrived. In front of them was a Tee-shirt, gym-shorts wearing foursome that seemed oblivious to their surroundings. They appeared to be newbies playing a two-team scramble. The single and twosome did not continue onto the back, but we still had long waits. Still, Meadow Oaks is a fun course to play. We’ll be going back soon.

Nice Day Golfing.
Like Meadow so much, I usually play there a couple of times a week. Friendly staff, usually fast pace of play and good course conditions although repair work going on to upgrade it.
Hello and thank you for reviewing the course. We apologize for the delay of play during your round. Please know that this is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. With an uncharacteristically full day, we work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and allow our guest the chance to complete their rounds. With that in mind, we are working to best control pace and allow everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve by using your comments for guidance. Thank you for playing Meadow Oaks Golf & Country Club. We hope to earn your business again soon!
