Nice place to play
This is a nice course , very fun to play and the clubhouse staff is the best you could ask for!
We’re looking at making this our Sunday regular place to play.
Greens
The greens are very slow, because they aren't mowed everyday. I've played there twice a week for two months. Its why i quit playing there. I've only played mowed greens there maybe three out of 16 rounds. Played there Friday greens were not mowed and they raised the price. I would not recommend .
Good bang for the buck
While my left-handed son-in-law didn't enjoy all the right doglegs as much as I, the course was a nice track. Tees were a bit rough but enjoyed the course and worth the $50 price. The restaurant/lounge was nice. Staff were all very, very friendly. Going back when back in town in January!
review
Meadow Oaks is always a fun course to play....but needs some TLC especially in the fairways...lots of bare, brown areas...the greens are OK.....not in the best condition either.......I enjoy playing there cause is close to home......and the early morning T time was great......
Not getting better
I’ve been playing this course occasionally for about 10 years. They keep trying and at times it seems like they are on the right path. They have replaced and upgraded the old aging golf cart fleet. The course now is very hard and dry. The greens are in fair shape, a far cry from where they were a few months ago. My concern is we are about to hit the busy season and what kind of shape is it going to be in at the end.
Greatly improving
Course is looking great since new management took over, greens are looking fantastic 💪
Good condition
Course is always improving. Carts have been upgraded
Lost club
Nothing against the golf course at all. The course is up and coming, seeing improvements. My problem is THE golfer who found my club on the 17th hole and did not turn it in. It's a old, ladies Ping 7 iron. I hope they have a Merry Christmas
Rude staff. Better courses available
I've played this course for several years but after my last visit I will never spend my money there again. At least until they remove the rude staff in the pro shop.
Staff friendly
Course is in rough shape Greens need a lot of help .
A Tale of 2 Nines...
Front nine greens have regressed, dry and dirty with multiple types of grasses. Same for the tees and fairways, very dry and dirt ridden.
Back nine greens are near perfect, very green and smooth on just about every one on the back. Fairways much nicer on the back as well.
Pace of play was horrendous. 6 carts backed up after the turn on the 10th tee box. Front nine had waits on just about every shot, but the back pace was super slow.
An odd side note:
Played here twice in the last month and had rude comments both times from employees.
First time I booked a 2some on a Saturday morning between 9 and 10 am. After checking in and going to the first tee, the starter lady told me that 2 Somes weren't gonna be allowed once the snow birds came down. "You won't be able to play with just 2, we will put you with another 2 some". Which is a give to me and not an issue. I told her that's fine to which she replies: " the 2 some in front of you wanted to play ny themselves". Go figure..
This past week I arrived 15 mins ahead of my 1:30 tee time and was told by the man inside at check in: "Comming in late isnt gonna work out"
Yet we were backed up all day..
Coustomer service could use some help and the front nine needs irrigation.
Average
I understand this course has new owners. They are working to improve course conditions currently. They had sanded the greens & were in the process of over seeding the fairways. I’m looking forward to playing this again in a month or two to see the improvements. I am expecting a better version of this course by then.
Nice course
I liked this course with some challenging holes. Fairways were okay and the greens were good. Pace of play was very poor, nevertheless I’ve had a very pleasant at this course. If you can get a ‘hot deal’ then it’s value for money.
