Good Golf bad food
I enjoyed the golf course very much.
I got a $18 burger and fries from the restaurant and the whole meal was terrible. I didn’t complain because I was in a discussion with people and didn’t want it to be interrupted. The burger was just not worth it. The fries were hot on the outside but uncooked on the inside. I got the bacon burger and there was hardly any but one piece of bacon cut in half. I would rather have eaten a burger at any fast food place over this.
Picturesque and challenging
Nice little re-design tucked away inside a manufactured home community. Plenty of hills not typical of a Florida course. Tree-lined and narrow on many holes, making accurate shout placement important. Tees, greens and traps in great shape; fairways good to just somewhat fair. Plenty of small depressions on several of the fairways, so watch your cart speed to avoid getting bounced around. Worth a trip if you haven't played here before.
Nice course, friendly staff
Nice course in very good shape. The recent hurricane was a blessing in disguise; it forced them to clean up the course. It is noticeably less cluttered.
Not a member and every time I play there the staff calls me by name, impressive.
Only negative is there is no range.
FUN FUN FUN
Great course, very hilly, lots of fun #11 might have one of the best views around. The clubhouse is set on top of the hill and you go up and down from there. Errant shot are usually found and playable, except if you hit one in the ponds. Greens are in excellent condition. Fairways have some tight lies. Since there is no room for a driving range, a warm up cage would help. No harm in using a "breakfast" ball though.
North Central Florida Gem
From the Orlando area and made the drive up here. Roughly an hour drive, and soooooooo worth it. Beautiful course tucked away in senior community. Greens were resort quality, every bit as good as Mission Inn (nearby resort). The fairways have all sorts of rolling hills with holes going both uphill and down. Such a nice change of pace compared to typical Florida flat courses. The grounds crew works really hard and keeps everything so nice. Every bunker was freshly trimmed (spent a lot of time there). Just overall great variety of sand, trees, and water. Not too much of anything. The pro shop, starters, rangers were all so hospitable. Genuinely felt like a resort course. Played at noon for $25. Best deal I’ve had all year. Can’t wait to play again
Great course
If you like elevated golf courses, then go here. The most elevated I ever played and made everything so much more fun.
We joined 2 other guys at the back 9 and enjoyed it with them. Also the most windy day I have ever played.
Definitely going there again 🥰
Reno of a couple years ago holds up
Course in good shape. Recent aeration left greens a little slow and bumpy but that will, no doubt. correct quickly. Have enjoyed playing this course since the renovation.
Phenomenal
Came down to visit my parents and play at the villages, couldn’t get in there to play, which turned out to be a blessing in surprise. Came here instead and was pleasantly surprised. From the ease of getting a good tee time to the very nice starter personnel to the friendly residents offering their assistance it was top notch from start to finish. Don’t pair my wife and I up with randoms. You can for the most part drive anywhere on the course unless indicated. Nice elevation changes and good greens. Will 100% come back next visit.
This person could not have played this course. All reviews are great except aceracer. I played course and it is great.
"ACERACER" MUST be comparing this course to Augusta National.
