Water Oak Golf Club

The fairways where aerated and there where stones all over the fairway I ordinarily like the course but conditions where terrible

First time there, fairway areation . Everyone was very helpful and good pace of play

Upon arrival the course was not real busy. We were promptly informed that “Golf Now” paired you with this other twosome. Why I don’t mind playing with another pair, immediately following us was a twosome. They pressed our heels from the second hole until the turn. When they were offered to pass, they turned us down. They hit into us twice. We found out they were members. Behind them was a foursome and in front of us was a foursome. Not sure how the twosome got out in the middle of the foursomes and yet they also wouldn’t pass. I’ve seen the course look better, and play better. Multiple times I had to roll my ball over in the fairway. It’s just not like water oak that I played in the past. Still a great value for the money just a little disappointed to not feel as welcome as I felt in the past.

This course is growing in nicely from significant renovations. The greens receive shots well and putting a little on the slow side but true. Each time I play this course it is better than the time before. Good value as well

Even with fairways punched… play today was worth the price, greens are excellent! Staff friendly…

Awesome layout for a Par 70 course. Just wish it had a driving range.

First time playing there this past week. I missed my first tee time due to some car issues but the staff found another slot and got me on the course without an issue. Pace of play was great. The greens were slow but in perfect condition and the course was really fun. Definitely going back.

I really don’t have anything bad to say other than I wish they had a driving range five out of five stars for me if I’m back in the area, I can promise you I will play this course. Anybody else talking down on it hasn’t played it recently.!!! I’m from the Pinehurst area in this course really checks all the boxes when you’re standing on the tea looking down the fairway or over a ball lining up a putt

The course is in pristine condition given lack of rain. Greens are a little slow, but understood. Approaches are awesome. Fairways have enough grass for relief from dirt. It is definitely one of the best maintained courses in this area! The Pro shop is very friendly. Starters are amazing. I recommend playing there!

Grounds crew is doing an amazing job... course greens was near perfect; I appreciate the courtesy of the pro shop staff and especially the efforts of the grounds crew.

Friendly staff, nice short game areas, nice course that will only get better once the rain comes consistently.

Bunkers need attention.

This place is nice and has an ok layout. Couple cool par 3s and some drivable par 4s and other holes that are fun and challenging. However, the staff are the least helpful, most incompetent individuals I have ever encountered at a golf course. Made the whole experience much less enjoyable and really upset my playing partners and I. You aren’t allowed to have more than 2 carts per hole so it’s impossible to have a non-player attend. Just abysmal management and poor communication. Dress code is over enforced and mind you, this place is in the middle of the trailer park. Couple wannabe pga staff members who don’t have a clue about a relaxing golf round. Will not be back here.
