More golf course than it appears
This course is listed as only about 4100 yards from the tips, but with 10 par threes the course is actually a challenge for a lower handicapper. Very little sand or water, but when the length of most of the par threes (150-170, with one playing 190) and the small greens are accounted for it is a nice test. A little rough around the edges with dirt paths and gas carts, but I really like this place. Played 18 in an hour and a half by myself at 5:30 PM on a Friday. Give it a try.
This course was fun.
This course was fun. I was alone and paired up with 3 other gentlemen and it was a blast. The course is small compared to some of the other courses I played at on my trip but it was worth the money! If you want to get a quick round in at a nice course with great staff, I recommend this course.
fun and good value
The staff was very friendly and helpful. THE COURSE HAS A CHALLENGING LAYOUT AND WAS IN FAIR CONDITION. THE VALUE IS TERRIFIC AND I WILL PLAY THE COURSE AGAIN.
some great holes
The first ten or eleven holes were O K, but the lasy seven were very nice. Played the course befire but this time I had a great time! Always great rates,
Nice course for beginners
The black tees will challenge good golfers.
Greens were slower than we were used to.
Great Couples Course
We are a couple where the wife is getting back into golf. it is pefect for that. I have a bum shoulder thanks to a bicycle accident and can play with her to encourage. I have loved playing there under these circumstances.
The value is also fantastic with the Golf Now Hot deals. We could not do it without the breaks Hot deals provides.
Thanks,
Ray
Lady lakes
Godd value, average course. good for beginners and occasional glfers. good value.
Play was too slow
The couse is very short. Too many par 3's.
I have played 7000+ yard courses in less time than we played this course. I suggest a course ranger to keep the slow golfers (there were many) moving.
Foursome ahead of us was hitting two balls per man and they were slow on the greens and getting on and off their carts.
The 18 hole pace of play rating (above) is not applicable to this course. One star should start with
4 hours. Bunkers were packed sand.
Excellent Shape Right Now
Great course for a middle to high handicap golfer.
It's an executive course
Had I known it was an executive course I would not
have booked this reservation. Very busy little course, and very slow pace of play. Not enough water coolers/ball washers. Temporary potties turned me off.
Good value for the money
If you are a single digit handicap, you might not think this is your type of course! If you are looking to get out and get in some swings, the price is right!!
been cleaned up but 25% increase in price
They have been doing cleanup on the course and it is starting to look better. But they jacked the price up. So if I don't find a deal on Golf Now, I go elsewhere.
It is a fun little course. 2 of us buzz thru it in 2.5 - 3hrs
A great course for the short hitter
We enjoyed our round at The Lakes of Lady Lake. The course is attractive and well-maintained. The pace of play was very good and the green fee included the use of modern golf carts. We were made to feel most welcome and hope to return soon.
Great course for the money
Short course but difficult enough to make it interesting. Quite busy the day we played. Could leave a bit more time between groups.
Well maintained
This short course is in nice condition and has it's challenges. We had a great time and will return
Fun course and close to where we are staying
We had an enjoyable afternoon at The Lakes of Lady Lake for a super price. Booking it on line was easy, so much so that we have booked next Saturday at a great price again for ourselves and for our friends who will be arriving later this week. What a nice welcome for some snowbirds from Canada.
"THE PRICE IS RIGHT"
Could use some TLC in the hard to mow areas, but all and all is was an enjoyable day...
Not a good outing
Many weeds all over the course, on the fairways and greens. Some greens are either bare or weedy.
Course needs attention.
We found the greens were in decent shape but the fairways really need attention. There were weeds and a lot of ant hills.
Good challenge for a short course.
Great place to play iron shots. Good length on the numerous par 3s.
