Wonderful course.
Great value. Challenging and very hilly! Lots of elevated greens. Beautiful fairways. The tee boxes and the greens need some TLC. Otherwise a great course.

Course is a good layout.
Good layout but the greens were very inconsistent. Fairways were thin on grass . Still a nice layout that was fun to play.

Never Disappointed
Course has every challenge possible. Elevation changes, false front elevated greens, water, wildlife and beautiful vistas abound. The staff from the bag drop, pro shop and many of the people you encounter on the course are super friendly. The staff is very customer service oriented. I drive from Tavares and its very much worth the drive. I will be back soon!

Nice Layout
This was our first time playing this course and we really enjoyed the layout as well as the couple we were paired with. There are some interesting holes with a few brief views of the nearby lake. That being said, the greens were very bumpy with some bare spots and extremely slow. It seemed like the back 9 greens were in a little better shape than the front 9. Fairways were playable. We'll return in the Spring/Summer to see if the playing conditions are better.

Will never play again
Our first time to this course and I will say, the course itself was nice, well taken care of, and all expertise level friendly. However, I will never return. The staff care about one thing and one thing only and that is members. And the members act like and treat everyone else as if they rule the world. Didn’t go so well for the staff or members today.

Brisk day at Harbor Hills
Very friendly staff. Strong course design. We played in 3 hours and 15 minutes. Understanding the greens was a challenge.

Disappointed
Course was in ok shape. Front 9 were rough on some back was average. I have been in The Villages area for 7 yrs and have never had a 5-1/2 hr round. They over booked and never said anything when we checked in. Also I called because 1 of our players wanted a cart himself because of Covid. I called the day before and was assured we could get individual carts. Staff didn't care and made no attempt to help. Not sure will be back.
