I have come back to play Harbor Hills each year I visit the area. I thought the course was in very good shape this year.

I always spoke highly of the course. However, my latest outing left me very disappointed. It was an hour and a half drive to play the course. The round ended up taking over five hours to play. Most of the time was spent socializing and laying on the cart. I will not refer any of my golfing crew to this course. SMH!

I drove 43 miles to play this course and it was worth it
They do need to get the fairways better but all in all the course is in good shape. The fairways are a little thin so work on that and then your course will be great

Pretty layout but what a mess
We had a 1:40 tee time showed up at 12:30 to use the range.. Go inside, Larry at the register was great. Very nice. Tells me we had a junior tournament go off, but I have set aside a cart for you and it has your name on it. Just tell outside staff what I just told you. Perfect. Go outside, give the guy my ticket, tell him what Larry said. He tells me we don’t have any carts. I said ok, I’m just telling you what Larry told me to say. He says YOU DONT TELL ME ANYTHING. I said I’m sorry? YOU DONT TELL ME ANYTHING, I WILL TELL YOU WHEN WE HAVE CARTS. And we are 15 min behind. I said ‘Who are you talking to like that?!’He said ‘Well they shouldn’t be telling you we have carts’ I said well YOU GO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR PRO SHOP, not be an ignorant jerk to golfers. We ended up teeing off at 2:20. 43 minutes behind schedule and we waiting every shot after the 1st hole. People were coming back in cuz it was taking so long. The course is a nice layout has some really fun holes. Greens decent but not great. Fairways typical. We enjoyed the layout. But will never return for the above reasons.

Friendly staf
The staf is great the course is nice it has some tee box blemishes and the greens were not in grate shape but you can see the effort to mantaine them they had a blast of cold wether in January and you can see the effects but recovering nicely

I love this course. Great layout and the course conditions are always great. The hills and elevations make you feel like you're in the Carolina's. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this course!

Hidden Gem
The course in great condition from tee to greens. The best fairways we’ve played in a couple of weeks, we live College Park and this was well worth the drive. You won’t be disappointed.

BEST OF THE TRIP!
High End homes around a FUN relaxing, in great shape course!
The birds were chirping, a cool breeze blew from the beautiful lake, and the Birdie Putts were going in the hole. We played 36 holes in one day and loved every minute of our visit!
Starters & Marshalls personable and funny, too!

Great Value
Best of the 3 non The Villages courses we played in the area so far. Conditions were very good, greens ran true, Lots of elevation changes for a Florida course. 8 different tee combinations makes it easy for anyone to find a fair game.
Pace of play was fine, about 4:10. Front 9 went quickly a little slower on the back. All in all I'd highly recommend this course.

Unprofessional staff, rude players, muddy greens.
People behind us were hollering FOUR and blowing AIR HORNS. I told the cart guys and they asked me was I going slow? Does it matter? And I told him it's a par 3 it's normally backed up a little bit there. And he said yeah. I said the only other thing we're doing was putting a couple balls. Then he said oh yeah you shouldn't be playing two balls. It's been backed up all day. Every green you go to there's two or four carts waiting to see off. When I showed up 35 minutes earlier there was eight cards on hole one. Everybody all day new and they should have been told it was a little backed up. So #1 I'm going to play another ball or putt an extra ball instead of sitting at the next tee box. #2 there are a million other reasons why you could be planning to pause. Maybe it's a provisional ball maybe you lost it maybe you just want to re-hit it. All I heard was yeah that's why they were blowing air horns because of you with two balls. I didn't hear anything about while I will talk to them and it doesn't matter what you're doing People shouldn't be doing that. #3 we were a twosome in the middle of all this nonsense and we were on pace all day. I don't care what the people behind you are doing. People play it different skill levels and people are in different size groups. Just because people behind you are going fast doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong or people in front of you can be pushed any faster. All they heard was it was my fault and I deserved to be putting and getting air horns and people yelling. Does NOT make a good girl experience. COURSE: greens were 75% mud with peach fuzz of grass. Few had more grass than others. Needs to be seeded bad. Made for difficult putting.
