Good value
Great layout. Pretty vistas overlooking lake.just over 3 hours to play. Greens slow and a little bumpy. Drought the reason.

From the time I was met at my car with a golf cart, to the drink at the 19th hole, very enjoyable..

Worth the drive
Nice change from typical Florida course. Good elevation changes. Good greens but fairways still need more time to recover from winter damage some are still a little thin. Otherwise well worth the money.

Florida Visit
Course layout is awesome. Sand traps are nearly perfect. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend it 100%.

Love This Course, But...
I waited WELL past my 72 hrs to write this review, because I really like this course and I normally don't like to complain. BUT...
1. Original PM green fee was $58 + taxes when booked via Golf Now.
2. When we checked in, we were charged $69+ to play.
3. When asked about the price difference, the counter guy said it was because the sun came out. Said it with a straight face... Wwhat???
4. Our tee times were scheduled right after the last group of a youth tourney, so ZERO carts available for 45-50 min after arriving an hour early.
5. Being right after youth tourney = slow pace
6. No beverage/ snack cart.
7. Because of cart scarcity, we (1st group) started 15 min late and our other two groups started when we were on the 4th green.
8. Because of said scarcity, a group with their own cart, was jumped (by the starter) before our subsequent groups.
* You're reading this review, because I'm still disappointed and will probably not be back for a good while. We play throughout the CFL area and haven't had so many things go wrong for a one round. I was actually (low-key) looking for hidden cameras.
* If you're having issues reviewing courses via the Golf Now App, it's a known issue. Use the website and you'll get through - it's what I had to do.
* Word-of-mouth referrals or criticisms are truly underrated in today's society, and "up-charging" & overbooking are sure ways to make folks feel you're being greedy and criticism have criticism spread.

Greens arent the best
Bumpy greens due to what looks like disease. The course is usually in great shape but not this time.

A pretty Golf Course
The course is pretty, lot of nice houses, trees, lake views. The greens were fast and difficult.

Do Better
We have played this course often over the last few years and has always been a favorite, this time the conditions were very poor. We understand the area is going through a drought but what we found has no relation to that. The greens are invested with Poa and incredibly bumpy, a daily mowing would help. The greens keeper did a terrible job of placing the holes with nearly every one of them “volcanoes”.
Pretty sure we will not be back until we hear conditions improve.

Relaxed atmosphere, quality course
We played about a week after a w day freeze, and it was apparent that they did some heavy watering prior to our round. So while some areas were wet, the course in general was fine. This is a great course for higher handicappers like me, wide fairways, short rough, no big carries. The tee boxes were fine, fairways good, and greens were only "OK". The greens were pretty fast, but some were not smooth and a few had weed invasion (but obvious that it was treated). Overall worth the long drive!

Great course with good vibes
First time playing here in an Ocala native and I decided to venture out and play this course and it didn’t disappoint from the layout to the staff it really was a great experience and I will definitely be going back to try the lunch menu.

This course is a real gem, layout over rolling hills and elevation changes is awesome. Greens roll pure and in great condition. Staff is super friendly. I always have played this course at first light so can comment on pace of play because I go around in max 2 hours.

One of the Best in the Area

The best jewel of a golf course.
This course is located in a lake area far from the main roads and is the best kept secret I've found. The condition of the course is immaculate and the layout is very picturesque and beautiful. I am very pleased with the fact that it's on golfnow.com for the not so rich golfers like me and I will recommend it to everyone who would make the drive to play golf at Harbour Hills.
