A8 green. They didn’t even mentioned they had punched the greens, much less this atrocity. Photo submitted by MichaelOBRIGHT on 06/11/2019

Solid course for most golfers
Local Lakeland golfer. Great round of golf at Cleveland Heights. Very friendly. Solid course. Typical course conditions for winter golf in Florida. Greens not in the best condition as expected. C.H. is not for the best of golfers but excellent for good golfers and recreational golfers. Starter managed the flow of golfers very well.
Greens look rough
Fairways aren’t bad, but the greens are looking really bad at this course. Can’t really put a true line. I would rather pay $10.00 and play other courses, always busy as well
Thanks for your feedback. We have had a moisture issue on the greens since we over seeded in December. We have addressed the issue and should see results over the next (2) weeks. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you had a good golf experience at CHGC and hope to see you back soon. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Goat Ranch Greens
Greens are horrible ... patchy turf at best with mostly big sandy sparsley covered with green grass , even the grass present is fair on the greens. fairways are ok , if you are in the rough be fortunate that there is some kind of grass for your next shot and not dirt. Bunkers are not sand bunkers they are DIRT bunkers and the soft soft on top isnt very thick so if you hit a sand shot you can cut to the mud .... this is at best a $15 to $20 course right now. And I have played this course before where I woulda paid $40 or $50 to play it ..... far from that now.
Thank you for the feedback. We are having a moisture issue with a few greens after we over seeded in December. We will be addressing these issues and thanks again. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Beautiful layout
I enjoyed the course. Greens were a bit sketchy though. And, very slow.
Anthony, thank you for your feedback. We over seeded the greens in December. We are having a moisture issue with a few greens as December was a pretty wet month. We are addressing the issue right now. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Not a bad city course
Beware, they do allow walkers in the am hours. The course plays very slow due to the morning walkers.
Five and half hours (5 1/2 hrs.)
Needs work
I have golf at Cleveland Heights about 20 times in 4 years.. Regulars that play have special privileges. I decided once to walk the course and not ride to get exercise. I had to skip a hole because a 5 person group was playing so slow. And the group where in carts. I called to the club house to complain but I was told they are regulars and I can wait or go around. It is a public course acting like a private course for some. This is not the only example. Another time a ranger came out an told us on the 16 hole that we had to hurry up or get off the course because a weekly group was going to start their scrabble now. The course has a decent layout but the greens are in bad shape. If it rains the day before you can loose your ball in the fairway by plugging. I only golf there sometimes now when friends wanting to golf there. Not a fan.
Hello, Nick. Thank you for reviewing the course. We would like to apologize for the delay of play during your round. Please know that this is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. With an uncharacteristically full day, we work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and allow our guest the chance to complete their rounds. With that in mind, we are working to best control pace and allow everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve and use your comments as guidance in doing so. Thank you for playing Azalea/Camelia Golf Course at Cleveland Heights Golf Club. We hope to see you again soon.
Greens need work
I have played this course numerous times over the past year and have never seen the greens in this bad of shape. Not sure if the closer weather negatively affected them but they were pretty rough which is not normal for this course. Other then the greens the course was in pretty decent shape.
Thank you for the feedback. We over seeded in December and you are correct that the weather has not helped us. A wet December has caused us some moisture issues with some greens that we are addressing right now. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars. We have projects underway the conditions of the greens and hope you'll bear with us through this transition and give us another try in the near future. We hope to hear back from you soon!
Thank you for the feedback. We over seeded greens in the month of December. The greens have filled in nicely since this maintenance practice has been completed. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Disappointing condition
This is the go to course here in town. I usually play once a month here, sometimes more. The course has had ups and downs with regards to condition. Today was definitely a low. Although a little frost is to blame for some of the fairway concerns, the greens were perhaps the worst I’ve seen . Very disappointing.
Thank you for your feedback. We are addressing the issues with a few greens right now. We over seeded in December and we had a pretty wet December causing some moisture issues with the greens. We have a plan and are addressing right now. Brock Witmyer (GM)

Good Value, Fun Layout
Enjoyed my first loop around the B, C Nines.
Fun layout, good variety of holes.
Greens are really bad right now. Not sure if they are trying to grow in overseed, but that was the one downside of the course. Tee boxes and fairways were great.
Will be back
Greens are mostly hard packed mud
T boxes are fine, Fairways are fine, some wet areas, but not that bad. The Greens are horrible.
Thanks for your feedback. We over seeded the greens in the month of December to protect the dormant Bermuda grass in the Winter months. The over seed also protects the surfaces from the amount of play we get from January thru April. The greens have filled in nicely and we hope to see you back soon. Brock Witmyer (GM)

Thank you for your feedback. The greens were over seeded in the month of December to protect them from cold weather and the amount of play we see over the next 4 months. It takes about 3 weeks before the Rye grass fills in. We hope to see you back in the new year, Brock Witmyer (GM)

Thank you for your feedback. We have over seeded the greens with rye grass to protect the Bermuda grass during the Winter months. The rye grass also protects the Bermuda grass from the 66,000 rounds of golf we get annually. This is a maintenance practice that impacts the facility during the month of December. We hope to see you back after the new year. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Thank you for the positive feedback. We are glad that you had an excellent golf experience at CHGC. Hope to see you back soon. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Worst ever
Been playing Cleveland Heights for a number of years, the conditions of the greens were poor and the sand traps were just dirt. What a shame, this was one of my go to golf course.
Thank you for the feedback. We just over seeded the facility when you played. It is a maintenance practice we do annually in the Winter months. We over seed the Bermuda grass with Rye grass to protect it during the cold weather while Bermuda grass goes dormant. The over seed also protects surfaces since we get about 66,000 golf rounds annually. The over seed impacts playability for about 10 days, but is very important to the facility. Brock Witmyer (GM)

Great Municipal Golf Course
Fairway is good, the greens need some work but overall it was a great course. Well managed and pace of play was good. Layout was good also.
