The Heights
Typical Municipal course as far as set up with 3 different nines. Course is in nice shape for the amount of play they get. Nice round for the money

Course is in great shape.
Course is in great shape. The greens are starting to grass up nicely, still a little slow but are holding up ok. I wish the players would fix their ball marks, I usually repair 2 or 3 besides my own on most greens. I was able to walk on as a single without a tee time and played 18 in just 3 hours. There a few places where some tree trimming needs to be done to get some sunshine on the fairways to help the grass grow better but most of the areas around the greens are starting grass up nicely. Very few bare spots if you are short of the greens which gives you a reasonable chance of a good lie for a chip or flop wedge. The staff is great very helpful and attentive. The marshalls are unobtrusive unless you are getting behind. The restaurant and bar are very good, my wife and I have gone there for dinner and drinks even when we have not played a round of golf that day.

What an improvement
Fairways have grass, tee boxes nice, most greens good, only negative sand traps need more sand. 100% better than last time played.

Cleveland Heights
Nice course with (3) 9’s. Course was pretty good shape but half the greens were down to dirt in spots.

No longer can be called a golf course
In town several weeks a year on business. Played here several times 6 years ago or so. Good public course then. Now, well, you get less than you pay for. I was completely disappointed in the condition of the course. To say course was poorly maintained is a massive understatement. The greens are completely lost. Look badly diseased, very sparse grass on them. Mostly compacted mud with varying lengths of very unhealthy grass. I can't overstate how horrendous the condition of the greens are. A few decent fairways, but even they were very poorly kept. Mostly weeds mixed with hard pan bare spots. Bunkers looked like they haven't been raked or maintained in years( don't dare use COVID as excuse for the bunker condition management!), very little sand, and all compacted to cement hardness with parts caving in. It's sad to see as the course itself has good bones. Promising layout with some decent surrounding aesthetics. I understand its $32 and a municipal course, but to let it get to this condition is complete neglect and total ineptitude by management. Stay away. Its basically a severely overpriced driving range at this point. Sad to see. Management/city should be ashamed. Anyone that gives this course a higher rating either is a friend of someone who works there, or knows absolutely nothing about decent golf courses. Weather, rain, droughts, none of those can be used as an excuse. Complete and absolute neglect is the one and only cause.

Too far for so little
The course was not worth the drive from Ruskin for the amount of money I paid. In all honesty my only two positives are the layout of the course and the French fries my playing partner had. I always give unbiased fair reviews and I really don't have anything else to say that would convince someone to play the course.
