Schalamar Creek Golf Club

Greens are not in very good shape, too many weeds or something growing on greens, putting is tough to get a smooth roll.

This course is a lot of fun. You need to be very accurate if you want to drive some greens, If you are great at sniping the ball you’ll have a great time because the course is actually pretty short however, it’s very challenging on some parts. Overall the course was very enjoyable and I’ll definitely be playing here again!

Golf play was cart path only as it rained the night before. Was a bit slow because of ths. Overall course layout is nice and requires some precision shots off the tee. Tee blocks, fairway and greens were average but great price to play this course.. Staff are very friendly and beer is the lowest price I have paid so far here in Florida. I would come back and play this course again.

Showed up for our 11 am tee time at 10:50 on the first tee and was informed that they are letting a group of twenty players 5 foursomes to go in front of us. And did see all the players grouped together to start and when they all teed off it was 11:35. From there we waited every hole to tee off and to hit on the green. At least average 10 minutes per hole delayed. No Marshall to ask them to speed up. It took 4:45 mi utes to complete what should have been 3:30 minutes on that short of a golf course.

Schalamar has some very interesting holes. Back nine is tougher than the front. Only knock is that the restaurant was closed so unable to get a drink afterward.

Target golf with a nice layout. Tee boxes were rough and greens had tons of chickory. Pins probably hadn’t been changed in a while. Pretty demanding off the tee and tons of rollout. Starter was awesome and very well kept residences. Give this course a C.

Great course. Tight in some areas and wide open in others. Not too bad of shape. Greens are not taking break so put it right at the hole.

Great value and a lot of fun.

4th time playing here and always enjoyable but the recent rains has produced a soggy experience… the course just needs time to.dry. Staff great as always and look forward to getting back soon.

There’s been a lot of rain lately but Schalamar seems to not drain as well as neighbouring courses. All the green surrounds were muddy and a great deal of casual water everywhere. It’s a good layout requiring precision off the tee. If you can keep it in play you can score. It’s always a fun track but would play other courses if the conditions as wet as they have been. I play it about once a year and don’t recall it being this wet. Most tee shots and missed approach shots plugged.
