Not worth the price
This course was okay, but not worth the greens fees. Very short and tight.. Overall, I was disappointed.
Pros: The greens were consistent.
Cons: Too tight to hit driver on most holes, but isn’t really required being as the tips are about 5,000 yds total. 5+ minute wait on multiple tee boxes. Bunkers were quite sad. :(
Schalamar
Very tight to the point of being unfair in places. Grass thin in places. Employees were fine and price good. Met some very nice folks from canada and locally.
On a one to ten scale, this course is a 12
Everything about this course is great. It truly is a gem... The fairways are challenging and the rough is cut short but tight for great lies everywhere. The collars and approaches are in great shape too. Love this course playing it again today
Awesome
Had alot of fun, paired off with an English couple, exquisite!, receptive, & marvelous.
Well maintained
For anyone who has not played this course, it is a bit tight on a few holes but not normally a problem. The greens are in good shape but were running slow on 3/20.
Very good value for money
I love this course so much that I’m buying a package of 50 games when I return next winter! By far my favourite course in Lakeland
Schalamar
I live at the community and play the course often. Always challenging and different. Staff is wonderful and helpful. Great place to live and play!
Great shape well worth the money!!
This is a fantastic course for the price. It is in beautiful shape......10 times better then Providence high is twice the price. Good layout quite challenging!!! The only downfall pace of play could be much better....4 1/2 to 5 hours. If someone would manage the tee offs better and a marshal would make things much better for everyone.
All in all worth the play.
Goat Ranch
Very short and narrow, awful lies throughout the course, greens were ok, pace of play was terrible. It took us nearly 3 hours to play the front nine. Do yourself a favor and find another course to play.

Surprisingly nice course.
We were expecting another course winding among Florida homes . This course is open and challenging. Greens in great shape . We'll play it again .
Retirement course
Greens are in really good shape as well as the fairways. It's a tight course with 5 sets of tees. If you hit it straight will score well
Enjoyable round
The course is challenging. Especially the greens. Overall experience was good although 5 hours is a bit longer than normal. A course Marshall on busy days might be a good idea. I will play here again and recommend the course based on condition and price.
Make Sure You Play This Course
We got this round last minute with Golfnow. We got 8:15 tee time for $10.00 and after playing, we said we would definitely play again and pay more if necessary. Course is in great shape. Tee boxes are good and greens are great. If they suffered at all from wet weather, they've been doing a great job of recovering from it. One of the best courses we've played in a while. It's long enough it's challenging. You can get the driver out and boom it, but there are also holes that require thought and tee shot placement. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a round of golf. Oh and the staff are all very helpful and very pleasant.
Nice course
Course in very good shape. Greens are best around. Areas of course were soggy. One hole (#16) was CPO. Enjoyed the round and will be back for sure.
