Huntington Hills Golf & Country Club

This is a great course and one of the best courses in the area. The course is always very well taken care with the greens and fairways well manicured. The gentleman in the pro shop was friendly and helpful. Definitely one of my favorite courses in the area.

Very wet with standing water that's been there for a while as it's been mowed around.

Course was in excellent shape. Green rolled nice with moderate pace. Staff was super friendly.

Huntington Hills is a terrific course and will become one we'll play frequently in the future. Huntington fairways are well maintained; large greens that are in great shape and roll out true; bunkers have lots of soft, fluffy sand and a very nice staff. One suggestion: We were the 3rd twosome in line, but the pace of play was really quick; however, a 4some of Huntington club members playing behind us were hitting balls in our back pocket on virtually every hole from 8 to 18. We offered to let them play through but they declined because of the number of groups ahead of us. The 3 visiting 2some's didn't need a reminder of course etiquette, but someone should mention that cocept to the membership.

The course was in great shape from tee to green. A couple of wet spots from the rain but nothing out of the ordinary. Greens ran slower than they looked, but they were in good shape and rolled true.

Hot day in FL on a golf course nothing to drink on the course .A Shameful must can do better.

For as hot as it is in Florida, Huntington Hills has done fantastic job with the course. Tee box, fairways and green were in great shape. It was a pleasure to play.

Pace of play: 3 hrs 30 min

Tees: 8/10 (no complaints just not pristine)

Fairways: 7.2/10 (mostly fine with some patches)

Rough: 7.5/10 (full grass in rough, not hitting off dirt patches like a lot of florida courses)

Bunkers: 6.2/10 (they were a little firm and bare but were also were wet from morning dew)

Greens: 7.1/10 (greens were punched about a month ago, and most holes are still very bumpy. Grass was healthy so they will be very nice once fully healed).

Layout is great, lots of hills, and makes you play nearly every club. Easily worth the $50 morning tee time value, especially once the greens are healed.

No water on course, no beverage cart.

Great course, very well maintained, always one of the best in the area. Greens are in very good shape. Play here often and have always had a great experience.

Course was in great condition. Lots of wide open holes intermixed with strategically challenging holes. Fairways and rough were well manicured and lush. So many of the courses in FL have sparse grass and patchy greens, but that wasn't the case for Huntington Hills. Even when missing the fairway I was still almost always hitting from nice grass and able to recover. The price of the HotDeal, along with the friendly staff and course conditions, definitely made the 1 hr drive from St Pete area to Lakeland worth while. My only criticism would be that the golf carts could use an update (there are a a few blind holes where GPS would have been very useful for club selection). Otherwise it was an excellent day of golf, despite some record breaking heat (which thankfully kept the course relatively empty and allowed for a 3 hr round). I'll definitely be back again.

This place may get over looked due to its reasonable prices. Great layout and great conditions! This course has a great mix of challenges along with a signature double green :) I hope this place continues to stay humble so we can afford to enjoy it for years to come.

Very impressed with this golf course. The course itself was in great condition from tee to green. The only reason for the 4 stars in Course Conditions was the greens were still recovering from aeration but still very playable. I will definitely make the drive from Clermont FL again. It's worth the trip.
