3rd hole, par-4, 363 yards, blue tees: Perhaps the signature hole and the #1 index, this hole’s green is amply defended by water. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/22/2025

8th hole, par-4, 277: Playing uphill from tee to green, this hole puts up a stern defense against being driven. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/22/2025

11th hole, 85: A hole of average difficulty, this par-3 hole supplies a stunning view into the distance. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/22/2025

Eighteen, a short par-4 of 328, is a fine drive-and-pitch finisher. The fairway is rumpled, and reminds me of some closing British holes I’ve played. . Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/22/2025

Great course perfect day Photo submitted by SHASHI60 on 02/05/2019
Course was in great condition. Lots of wide open holes intermixed with strategically challenging holes. Fairways and rough were well manicured and lush. So many of the courses in FL have sparse grass and patchy greens, but that wasn't the case for Huntington Hills. Even when missing the fairway I was still almost always hitting from nice grass and able to recover. The price of the HotDeal, along with the friendly staff and course conditions, definitely made the 1 hr drive from St Pete area to Lakeland worth while. My only criticism would be that the golf carts could use an update (there are a a few blind holes where GPS would have been very useful for club selection). Otherwise it was an excellent day of golf, despite some record breaking heat (which thankfully kept the course relatively empty and allowed for a 3 hr round). I'll definitely be back again.
COVID Time
Your restaurant staff cough in her hand and take my credit
card without sanitizing her hands I just didn’t appreciate that scenario Peoples health is important.
Hidden Gem!
This place may get over looked due to its reasonable prices. Great layout and great conditions! This course has a great mix of challenges along with a signature double green :) I hope this place continues to stay humble so we can afford to enjoy it for years to come.
First Time
Very impressed with this golf course. The course itself was in great condition from tee to green. The only reason for the 4 stars in Course Conditions was the greens were still recovering from aeration but still very playable. I will definitely make the drive from Clermont FL again. It's worth the trip.
Funnest course i’ve played in Florida
I live in Orlando and stopped by Huntington while driving back from Tampa. I felt like i was playing a course up north, so many rolling hills which was a real treat compared to all the flat courses Florida has to offer. Summer rates were 45 bucks but id say this course is worth over 100 bucks during peak season. I went in the middle of the day so there was only a few people out there. Most fun i’ve had on any course in Florida. Ive only broken 90 3 times now so i’m by no means a great golfer, but it was a challenging course and in better shape than every course ive played in central florida.
hilly for florida
A little more challenging than the average Lakeland Florida course but SUPER fun.
Always consistent
Another good day on the course. Tees were all pretty decent. Fairways overall in good shape. Greens were good but a little bumpy in spots from the recent aerification. Pace of play was about what you expect took just a little over 4 hours. Will be back again to play.
Fun Layout
This is a pretty cool and unique course with its layout and hilly fairways. Fun and challenging at the same time. My only problem with the course when we went to play are that the greens were just sanded the day before and you could tell they had been aerated a few weeks ago. If the greens would have been in nice shape then this place would have received 5 stars across the board.
Bad Greens
Greens were in horrible shape. Bumpy and patchy. Inconsistent speeds. Greens been aerated but not rolled and course did not notify at time of booking. One green the maintenance guys left the sprinklers on causing us to putt through a river!
Great layout, Aerated Greens
Everything was great, even though the greens were a bit tough at times from the aeration leaving all the little dimples in the green. But they rolled fast and true otherwise. The layout is very unique for the area with the elevation changes on quite a few holes. Overall worth it for the $26 I paid.
One of my favorite courses in Lakeland
As usual Huntington Hills was great. Course was in really good condition despite that we haven't had much rain and the greens were recently punched. Greens rolled fairly smooth, tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. O ly one green that had a bad spot. This has been and continues to be one of my top 3 courses in Lakeland.
Playable
The greens had been recently been punched but the greens were like lighting and played true.
Pace of play was slooow .. no Marshall’s on the course to speed play up and waiting 5 - 10 minutes per hole. I was playing solo and finished after 9 as it wasn’t getting any quicker and there were 3 4 balls waiting behind me.
$40 is what I paid and if you play 18 .. it’s worth it.
Old Hoosiers
Very difficult golf course but is fair. Same problem on this course as others. SLOW PLAYERS!!
