The Links of Naples

About
The Links of Naples sits at the southernmost tip of the Sunshine State's west coast in the golfing mecca that is southwest Florida. The golf course is one of the area's best executive layouts. The par-61 layout offers several challenging par 4s that stretch over 300 yards in length. You'll face a variety of challenges throughout the course, from the continuous mounding to the bunkers strategically placed along the elevated greens. Water also has a prominent presence, you'll find it on nearly every hole. At just over 4,000 yards from the back tees, it might seem short but it offers enough of a test for an interesting round. The Links of Naples' 17th hole is the back nine's toughest par 4, requiring an accurate tee shot before the second shot to a long narrow green.

Good Short Game Course
The Links of Naples was in good shape, the day was windy, but sunny. Pace of play was slow at first, but picked up in the second nine. We were a three-some and were paired with a fourth who fit in well with the group. The course was enjoyable, with plenty of water and sand. Mostly par 3's, with a few 4's of shorter length. We enjoyed the course and the day very much.
Best value in Naples area
The Links is a cross between an executive course and a full sized course. Conditions are decent with small greens. Better on course yardage markings would be helpful on the Par 4's. Seems like it gets a lot of play due to the low pricing. For the money it is am excellent value. They also offer night golf. I have not tried that-yet. Staff is friendly. Perfect course to hit first for snowbirds to get back in the groove
Great experience
Great little course with great management. We enjoyed playing and like the layout of the course.
great course all around
Great course for the money. Challenging course with a great mix of par 3 and par 4 holes. Driving range and putting green are other great additions for a warm before your round. Will play here again.
this course was fun
This was a great course to play late, since it is lighted for night play. This made it nice for missing the crowed. we played golf while everyone else was at dinner. Also for south Fla it was a better temp than afternoon play . I've played there 3 times and will again. But be careful during the rainy season, because it was flooded one time when I had booked. But they made good 2 wk's later. They also have a aqua driving range, It's cool to aim at floating islands
coachcody
the pace of play was very slow. good price for the Naples area. they did not charge for the warm up bucket.
great coarse to start on after winters lay over
great way to start winters golfing, coming from Toronto an all that snow. Challenging iron play and a few good fairways for your woods.
never again
Pace of play was rediculous. .starter kept sending groups out without adequate spacing.
Par3/4
Can't get used to the high prices for very a par3/4 course. If you want to golf in the Marco island. Naples area in the winter be ready for high prices. Also you have to pay to get to the beach
Course is perfect for my skill level
Course is just enough of a challenge for a 20handicap. Good price for day
Greens are in good shape. Tee boxes need a little help.
Unfriendly and very buissy
The Men in the staff is very unfriendly and we must every Time Long waiting
The course is good for getting the kinks out.
I will play there again! it allows you to get some golf in without the hassles of country club courses.
Short game
With limited par 4's and no par 5's this course will make you bone up on your short game. The greens are small and a little lumpy so you have to putt a little strong to keep ball on line. A two putt is good here. As the price is one of the lowest around the course is congested and the Tee time is just a suggestion. Best deal on Drinks, Hot Dog, Burger at any Naples Course.
The course need intense maintenance
Very poor maintenance all round . The bunkers had grass growing in them. The greens were very poor . This is probably due to the traffic it get due to low cost and evening golf under lights
This course is good for beginners
The front nine was good, no one in front or behind us, but on back nine play was slow due to the fact that they were starting games on the tenth tee! Still enjoyed it though as it gives you the chance to use short irons etc.
This is a good short course.
This is a good short course and reasonable test of golf, I played it recently, November 2013, not realising that they have just seeded the greens, this made the greens almost impossible to play but allowing for that we had an enjoyable round of golf in around 3.1/2 hours.
Terrible condition. They should pay the golf ears to play there.
Holes we're cut to shallow and most flags leaning sideways. In some areas off the green there was up to two inches of grass seed. A complete waste of money to play this course.
Fun course and good people. Course will improve through the winter as the course sustained damage through excessive water during the summer.
Played this course before and found it to be an excellent value. Course is normally in better shape. We know efforts are being made to improve it. Fun course yet challenging.
This is fun course. Friendly staff
This was a fun course to work on our short games. The staff was friendly.
Fun course
Nice layout for a short course with eleven par 3s and seven par 4s. We received a great rate with GolfNow.com and even played an extra nine-holes for a modest additional fee.
The course was very wet from all the recent rain in the area; and, the greens were not in very good condition with lots of weeds, etc. on nearly every hole.
