The Links of Naples

About
The Links of Naples sits at the southernmost tip of the Sunshine State's west coast in the golfing mecca that is southwest Florida. The golf course is one of the area's best executive layouts. The par-61 layout offers several challenging par 4s that stretch over 300 yards in length. You'll face a variety of challenges throughout the course, from the continuous mounding to the bunkers strategically placed along the elevated greens. Water also has a prominent presence, you'll find it on nearly every hole. At just over 4,000 yards from the back tees, it might seem short but it offers enough of a test for an interesting round. The Links of Naples' 17th hole is the back nine's toughest par 4, requiring an accurate tee shot before the second shot to a long narrow green.

Poor Greens
This is a nice Executive Course and would be more enjoyable if the greens were better maintained.
Poor greens
For 15 dollars it can't be beat. Unfortunately the greens cannot be played reliably. Incredibly slow and in poor condition. They need to be replaced.
Work being done on the clubhouse and washrooms will help.
It was a cow pasture - but only $7.00
The course was weeds and water. Most fairways were swamped and the greens were wasteland. But for $7.00 I got to practice.
Fun course to play
One par 5 a few par 4s make fun to play, great place to practice your irons. Course in good shape for the price and all the rain.
Terrible
Course is in ridiculously terrible shape and the owner Scott doesn't seem to care.
Wet, muddy, mosquitoes everywhere
The course was muddy and wet. The bushes and trees were infested with mosquitoes. We left after 4 holes.
very friendly staff
cant beat the price, rained got a rain date for the back nine.
tricky par 3 with plenty of water and sand
Course has everything but par 5s. It was virtually empty in May and we finished 18 in 2 and 1/2 hours. It's wall to wall people in January with a 3 and 1/2 18. At $12 per 18, it was a great deal. The fairways and greens need some work, but it has lights and you can play until and avoid the heat of day
Short course but good to work on the short game.
Par 61 course. Get out there early if you want to avoid potential slow play issues. It does back up there a bit.
Good value for the money
The course is user friendly for executives and beginners. As with many Florida Golf Courses, they have a tendency to let the greens grow out due to the high volume of play and scant rainfall. With that said, the greens tend to be slow, However , once you adjust to this the playing experience is pleasant
During high volume play, playing time exceeds 3 1/2 hpours of play.
Great Value
This is a nice course...more like a par 3 but it has a few longer holes. It was in very good shape even with all the rain. The staff was very nice, food/beverage was very reasonable. It is a shorter course but we played from the gold tees which helped a little. Overall excellent value!
Good for the price
Me and 3 others played 18. Best to go after 4 on the weekdays. Weekends there are usually really busy. When we went and played we had two groups in front of us and they were backing everything up and they're ranger just drove right past them and didn't do anything. We had to wait 20 minutes plus after every shot. Best thing to do is go at night on the weekdays when there isn't anyone else there. Great coarse for the price though. Can't beat it.
We played at night , had lots fo bugs that drove us nuts.
Lots of super slow players, lots of bugs that drove us nuts all evening long. We will not do that again at any price.
BUSY
I had to stop after 3 holes because it was so busy. There was about three 4 somes on every hole. And behind me, a group of 6 women and about 10 carts waiting at the first tee. Being a smaller and shorter course it was just going to be too slow for me. They gave me a rain check though so I am interested to check it out at night! Stadium lighting and open till 11pm. Hoping it will be less crowded during the evening.
good times
nice well maintained course. if ur expecting Augusta you will be disappointed but where else can you play golf after work at night?
Basically a par 3 course with a few par 4's
Nice course overall. This was my first time out this year, so it was a nice course to warm up on. Greens were in decent shape and the fairways were fine. Just a nice little golf course. very enjoyable.
Good tune up and a good price
I needed something to do early as my wife sleeps in...so I teed off here at 7am..Great cart guy..cheap ($25)...fun little track. The guys were mowing the green on 7, and paid me no heed, so after 10 mins I skipped the hole. Greens are rough...but all in all..a good way to get a tune up for little money.
good times at the links
It is a fun course - good practice for your short irons. Staff are friendly. Draft $1. Need to update the scorecard to current yardage as you were never sure what the actual length of the hole was.
Nice little executive course
This is a nice little executive course. Good for the short game. Greens are a little rough but not unplayable. Nice setting. Outdoor grill for lunch at the turn...reasonable prices. Good range for warming up. Not a bad deal at all through GolfNow.
Even though it is a short course you still use every club in the bag.
Very disappointed in the condition of the greens. I heard they were bad but I didn't think it would be this bad. Except for that, this is a good course for the beginner or a husband and wife outing.
