White Witch Golf Course at Rose Hall

Wow. Course is so awesome. From the ocean views, the skytees, the unbelievable awesome yet challenging layout, this place is the real deal. Honestly think this course has 2-3X better layout than cinnamon hill. Caddies at cinnamon hill will tell you not to play white witch, but don lt listen! The place is amazing besides some greens that have disease ,but as others mentioned, it doesn't ruin the experience. Don't recommend this for beginners or high handicappers, this course will test you. But there is a lot of risk reward off the tee making this very fun, but with multiple eagle chances to be had by skilled players. They also have a really good replay rate if you play both courses.

Such a scenic course! My caddy was great she was very knowledgeable and gave great instruction. Only downfall for the course were the greens. The pro shop was very upfront about the situation with the greens.

If you rent a set of clubs they don’t offer stiff flex they only have regular. Still had a blast tho-ya mon

Great course, friendly staff members and great caddie. Greens a little beat up but overall gd enough. My caddie Nadia was amazing and very knowledgeable of the course and it's layout/difficulty. Great guide.

I had an issue with my reservation when I got there, and the staff in the Pro Shop were amazing and understanding of the mishap. All was squared away and soon after I was playing my round. Thanks for and great time.

One of the best layout that I’ve played! Some green were on poor condition but some were good and fairways were ok. But the layout of this course is something ; ill be back for sure! Thanks to our Lovely caddie : Shauny . Great experience!

This course sits atop a mountain with amazing views of the ocean and beach. This course is very windy, but the caddy was excellent with the club recommendations. It also was a fine educational experience about the island of Jamaica from my experienced caddy.

The course is both beautiful and challenging. Unfortunately, the greens are not in the best condition. We had an excellent caddy, Kendra, who has been working there for 17 years.

Great course, greens were chewed up due to either weather, Grubbs, etc.. Also please maintain the sand traps as they were hard and wet.

Great challenging course, its only downfall are the greens. Greens are in super bad shape. Most hazards are playable, some can use some TLC. Tee box and fairways properly care for. Beautiful course,

Great course with view of the Ocean, caddie was amazing and very knowledgeable of the course. The only down fall are the greens (really bad shape) all greens. Tee box and fairways are in great shape - hazards in somewhat good condition (some bunkers unplayable). Other then greens - beautiful course.

This course is in the worst condition of any course I’ve ever played. The greens are mostly dirt, the bunkers have grass growing all over and many of the fairways are scruffy.

The layout is great but it’s a shame they’ve let the course deteriorate so much from the last time we played 4 years ago

Good reviews on this website but greens are horrible-unplayable. Staff/caddies great and friendly. Wouldn’t recommend to play until green issue figured out.

This course is the worst I have ever played on. The greens are dirt and clumpy. All 18 holes! I played 100+ rounds each of the last 20 years and this is by far the worst. The views are very nice and the staff are friendly but the course conditions ruined the experience. Not even worth half the price I paid. Stay clear of this course!

Golf is about the greens. Plain and simple. The worst course conditions a golfer should have to face is recent aeration .. and generally speaking, when booking your tee time if the greens are under repair, the course generally makes people aware ahead of time.

What I experienced yesterday was one of the saddest golf experiences I’ve ever had. I came to Jamaica for one week with my family and just wanted one nice round while I was here.

Me and my dad very excited to start our round. Once we got to the first tee, our caddy explained that the greens weren’t in great shape and just to take two when hitting the green…

When we got up to the first green, without any exaduration, it was dirt. Just dirt and mud with a few grass patches. There didn’t appear to be any effort being taken either. No sign of seeding, plugging, patching, just seems like they’re letting it go and have given up hope…

The staff were nice and the caddy was very helpful getting around the course, and it’s no doubt that they would all like to see the greens in playing condition as well.

I don’t know where the problem is here but this course should seriously consider shutting down and reopening when you can play golf on the golf course again.

Feel totally ripped off having paid over 300 for the round including the mandatory caddy on a golf course that’s completely unplayable.

I wish I could add pictures to this review, but just picture a 5 star layout with 18 dirt greens and you’ll get the picture.

Greens were sub par. Dried out and just plain dirt, didn't seem to have irrigation. Never seen greens that bad. Overpriced for the quality of the greens. Caddie was knowable and enjoyable. Pro shop was good.

Shape of the greens ruined our experience at White Witch. We arrived in Jamaica by cruise ship were very disappointed in our golf excursion.

the course was nicely laid out, but the greens were dried up mud and I mean putting was like putting on a table top of dried mud with animal foot tracks sticking up .....so while I shot good getting to the greens, it made is impossible to score.

I think that golf now should have known this and let me know up front prior to booking that this was how this course was....Frankly I think they should return our money
