About
The South Course at BlackHorse is known for the sand quarry that was ingeniously worked into the layout by the design team. Particularly on the back side, the wetlands and sand features come into play prominently and create a totally unique setting for golf.
Getting there : Take Hwy. 290 west to the Spring Cypress exit. Go south (left) under Hwy. 290 to Old Hempstead Hwy. Turn right and drive .5 mile. Turn left on House & Hahl Rd. Then left on Mound Rd. and right on Fry Rd. The entrance is on the right.

Course was in good condition except for the bunkers, that looked like it was due to excessive rain.
Gone down hill
No starter, no beverage cart, course not on great condition. We used to be members and the course has declined.
The greens were good. The fairways were just ok.
Blackhorse South
Played after the recent rain, the greens were perfect and played really true. The fairways and Tee boxes were just mud, no grass/turf, very disappointing for what is hailed as a premium venue 😔
Great course
I really enjoyed the course layout; used every club in the bag.
Wonderful time out
It was a beautiful day to play in this course. Nothing more to ask. This course is always good.
Was suppose to Tee of at 1:30 and the course was backed up and I did not tee off till almost 1:40. It was backed up and people skipping holes cause of the back up of the course
Worst green at Black Horse
Do not understand how they still charging $120.00 green fee this time of the year when the green are in such a bad shape...Weed and bumpy ...Just Unacceptable
