About
Located just minutes from downtown Canton, The Quarry Golf Club was built on the site of an old quarry that dates back to the 1800s. The location provides a dramatic landscape featuring cliffs that stretch over 100 feet, meandering streams, and deep-water lakes. The golf course utilizes the natural diverse features of the terrain, which lends each hole a unique character. Despite being an old quarry, there are many mature trees that line the fairways. Rocky outcroppings and native grasses border the gently undulating greens and water also comes into play frequently. It's a golf course that demands accuracy and you may find that you need to use all the clubs in your bag. The tee shots can seem intimidating initially but the landing areas are more generous than they appear.

Wonderful Course
I have heard great things about this course for years. My son and I went for his 16th birthday and had a great experience. It was a beautiful and challenging course. Really loved the gps in the carts.
I cannot wait to come back in the summer when its warmer. I will also visit in the fall since this course would have nice fall colors.

Early year round at a very nice layout
The course was only opened 2 days prior, the greens were heavily sanded. They had heavy rain the week before and therefore the course was cart path only.. this was an unnecessary action. As the course with very few exceptions was dry. This is a very hilly course for central Ohio and cart path only makes it quite physically challenging for us older guys.
It is a nice layout and nice people. It was $30 which I felt was an exceptional value. I will return mid season to get a fairer experience.

Great course for women golfers
The average 100 yard advantage per hole makes this course very appealing to me. It is a beautiful course and I was able to enjoy each hole's layout. But my tee placements gave me a true opportunity to score competitively rather than giving my husband a one stroke advantage on every hole. My husband loved the course as well. With the Golf Now price it was a tremendous bargain. This is definitely a top 10 Ohio public course.

Very good for this time of year
The course was in decent shape for late March. Only negative was cart path only but for good reason. This is a tough and challenging course. I ll be back!

Still In pain
Brakes or pedal stuck in cart and their cheap wood guardrails broke. I fell 80 feet in the Ravine. Bob M said I could have anything in the clubhouse. Instead I got a bill for the golf cart in the mail. Be careful on the carts and driving on this course. I’m lucky to be alive.

Fun course
We played this course the day after a heavy rain which did make the course more challenging but the course was still in great shape. I can't wait to play the course in nice conditions to a get a true feel of the course. I would defiantly recommend anyone that plays golf or like me that chases the ball around to play this course.
