The Quarry Golf Club

Very difficult course. Lost a lot of balls. Course was very dry with brown grass. Golf carts have the outdated GPS screens and GPS restrictions on where you can go which I don’t like. All all it was a challenging course and the carts suck.

It was kind of rough to see. All the reviews say the course is coming back and doing much better but I played it two times last year and it was in much better shape both times last season. But.......it hasn't rained in 2 months so it's also understandable. Greens were super shaggy and slow and that was a real big suprise. Course layout is amazing, there are a lot of bunkers in the middle of being removed and that's an absolute bummer. Lots of great courses in Ohio we have played have started with the before they went really really down hill. Removing key bunkers is a rough choice but we will see where it goes from here. We will be back next year

It's good to see the course conditions doing well after a few years of serious struggles. Having the old superintendent back is showing good results already!

Spectacular setting. Beautiful carved through the unique forest and valley. Challenging uphill and downhill shots makes one think their way through the course

Great shape

Amazing layout. Beautiful scenes. Friendly and accommodating staff. Greens were inconsistent, sandy on some holes, didn't allow for a true roll. Greenskeeper stated that the old superintendent is back at the course, and he is highly focused on getting the greens back to their prestigious condition. Recommend playing 10 times over. Can't wait to play again.

This course is a very nice course. The set up just isn’t for me. I would recommend playing it tho

Value-4 quality course for an affordable price

Experience-4 friendly and helpful staff

Condition- 4 well maintained but there recent construction. Tee boxes were in tough shape and the greens needed to be mowed. They rolled really slow.

Facilities- 3 nice pro shop, bar, patio, driving range, putting and chipping greens. There was also a nice restaurant

Challenge- 2 this course is extremely difficult and not for beginners.

I won’t return to this course until I lower my handicap.

For those that think the Quarry is in bad shape from reviews or friends here-say, they are completely wrong.

They have hired the original superintendent back and they are working hard to make the course great! There are lots of drainage improvements in progress.

The rains that have hit this area yesterday and the day before made it wet in a a few spots that they were already working on. The greens were soft from the recent rain and slow from not being cut today, because the equipment would tear up the greens. They are starting to work on some of the greens now. I’d give the course a 8 out 10 today with the current conditions, but could see it as 9.5 or better out of 10 when things return to normal. Today was a great value and I’m glad I made the 1.5 hr drive to play it!

I will return again soon, but expect the greens to be faster unless it poured the day and night before.

I suggest that others give it another chance too or ask a reliable source that has recently played there rather than old reviews.

The course was in very good shape from tee boxes, fairway and greens. The layout was challenging and fair. The GPS and yardage book were a big help for first time golfer. Be sure to enjoy the view from the 17th tee, and the 19th patio.

Very nice layout the course is not easy but I liked the challenge. I would advise to bring some extra golf balls.
