About
Located just minutes from downtown Canton, The Quarry Golf Club was built on the site of an old quarry that dates back to the 1800s. The location provides a dramatic landscape featuring cliffs that stretch over 100 feet, meandering streams, and deep-water lakes. The golf course utilizes the natural diverse features of the terrain, which lends each hole a unique character. Despite being an old quarry, there are many mature trees that line the fairways. Rocky outcroppings and native grasses border the gently undulating greens and water also comes into play frequently. It's a golf course that demands accuracy and you may find that you need to use all the clubs in your bag. The tee shots can seem intimidating initially but the landing areas are more generous than they appear.

Great course well worth the greens fee!
The Quarry is a bit off the beat and path however well worth the trip. The Club house and the pro-shop are very nice. The course layout is different than any in the area. It is challenging yet fun. The staff is great.
Make the drive, you will be glad you did.
Very disappointed in course maintenance
Greens were atrocious and course looks nothing like it used to as far as fairways and greens! This used to be one of my favorite courses but after this trip there I don’t think I will be going back at all! The layout is great and the cart girl was fantastic but unfortunately the course has gone way down hill!
Just Nice!
Everything about the Quarry was nice. The staff was sincere and friendly. The facility would rival any mid level country club. The lay out of the course is spectacular. It is nature and golf at its best. It has five sets of tees for all level of players. It's just a nice place to visit. The course is challenging however we all left with smiles on our faces, happy we braved the 46 degree temps for a fun round of golf.
Lost potential
Championship style layout. Terrible ground conditions. Putting on carpet would have been better than putting on the greens at the Quarry. Only 5 cars in the parking lot when I got there at 9am…. Honestly not surprised.
Greens need help
Great course, the Greens need help desperately, please help the Greens.
Terrible condition
I’ve been playing at this course for years this is the worst I have ever seen this course. The greens had dead spots all over and were borderline unplayable fairways and rough had an abundance of spots with fungus and areas with no grass at all. If this is how the course will be in the future I don’t see how it can stay open.
Greens need work
Most courses greens are ready to go for seasons these are not still arigated Lets gooo Love this course
Covered some ground; great views and elevation changes
We played this course with no leaves on the trees, of which, I am sure that the leaves are going to change your shot selection on many of the holes! The elevation changes from the tee box and fairway were awesome, if you like that kind of challenge. On this particular Saturday, it was a little windy, which made a few of the holes very challenging, as if the drop offs or trees on either side of the Fairway were not enough, the bunkers seem to be in some troublesome spots too. I can't wait to see this when the trees are full of leaves; it will be well worth the 3 hour ride from Southwestern Ohio area.
Always look forward to playing the Quarry! My group was very satisfied and happy we made the trip!

Don’t waste your money
Everything about the golfing aspect of the course was bad. Greens, tee boxes, fairway… All were terrible. The courses views are beautiful though.

Not Good
Have played this course before and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, can’t say the same this time. It took my partner and I almost 4 hours to play 9 holes due to the pace of play. Ended up walking off at 11 when 2 different 4 somes were at the same tee box waiting to go. Would of taken us 7-8 hours to play 18 at that rate. Course was also really in bad shape. Tee boxes were in rough condition and even worse for some of the greens.
