Willowbrook Golf Course

I had read, with admitted skepticism, of "how great" the course is following improvements. Well, much better, still room to grow, but, it is a track that relies on the willingness of the municipality to provide the needed dollars for improvements. That said, well worth the effort! Hot deals get you going at a terrific rate and all-N-all very tuff to beat... kudos to the crew !

Course is in good shape. Ball sits up on fairway and rough is manageable. Can get pretty wet with rain, but good municipal course.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. My friends and I were new to golf and genuinely trying to learn the course, and instead of showing basic patience or professionalism, the white-haired ranger called us “idiots” for taking our time. Women should not be spoken to with disrespect simply because we are beginners trying to learn a sport. The atmosphere felt hostile, humiliating, and completely unwelcoming. If this is how female customers are treated, I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for a supportive environment to learn golf.

The result of closing this course down for a major overhaul with repairs was a colossal success!! This course is in great shape, greens are in great condition and run like you would expect! The staff are quick to get you rung up and are courteous! A very different experience compared to the time the time prior to its overhaul!

I’ve played this couple the past 3 weeks,lots of interesting holes,plays kinda long which gives chance to use mid irons.I’ve played several area courses and the course is in better shape than any of them,greens are absolutely perfect!

Had a great time from the walk in to finishing my last hole. Paid for a single but got paired into a double and couldn’t have asked for a better partner. The golfers on the course were very friendly as well. Pro shop is small but has everything you could ask for and across the hall there’s a full bar with food and drinks. Driving range and a putting green. Can’t wait to book the next one.

Course in great condition and great level of challenge. Favorite course in the area.

I've played Willowbrook numerous times, and always had a good outing. The course is uncrowded by other structures; a true nature course with abundant wild birds, and a gator or two in ponds. Nicely kept greens, too. My place to play.

Course was in pretty good shape but pace of play was not good. Seemed like every pin was tucked and on the edges of Shelfs or false edges on every green. Seemed like a bad plan for a busy weekend in May.

I’ve been a frequent player in this GC and I preferred it over other nearby. It has good maintenance, nice greens, long par 4’s - 5’s good prices for the course and friendly staff.

Willowbrooke has always had a good layout. It’s nice to see the improvements they’ve made. The new greens are still pretty hard and bumpy to try and roll putts but hopefully it’ll get better in a few months. Fairways and Tee boxes were good. I would like to see them update the proshop and bar area. Bartender was really nice but couldn’t figure out how to change the channel on the old tv to let us watch the PGA tour event after we finished our round??

Did not realize how far this was away from me until we passed the Winter Haven sign. So happy to see real grass everywhere! I really like the layout and the scoring opportunities. Not a lot of room for error if you’re a bombet driver that sprays it everywhere. Great conditions and a nice surprise. Worth the drive and the fees.

We had a great day of golf at Willowbrook. Course is in solid shape and well maintained. Rate shop and you can get good deals but the course provides adequate challenge and the wildlife viewing isn't bad either. Thanks for taking great care of the place!

I wish this was closer to my house in S Orlando. Great condition. I wish it had a few water stations and ball washers. The last three courses I have played were The Oaks, Kissimmee Bay, and Remington were more expensive and not near as nice. In fact Willowbrook has more quality golf course grass than the other three combined and near zero weeds. Keep up the good work.

Older Muni that has definitely been given some TLC over last season. Track is in great shape. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Very windy but the greens ran true and consistent pace iver all 18.
