Fun lay out. Greens are rough
I really enjoy the the lay out of this course, but he greens are very bumpy. The staff is always very friendly. A Marshall wouldn't be a bad idea. The group in front of us was slow and had no business playing from he tips.
Nice Cours
Played serval times and with play again. Nice course.
Have to do better
The layout was nice, but conditions need improvement. I mostly play the more moderately priced courses and I realize you get what you pay for. However, the fairways are the worst I've played. Not because of winter or weather, but because of weeds and lack of maintenance. Greens were ok.
Lacking grass & rough greens
Maybe weather connected, but need grass in fairways and greens: small, rough and hard. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Club house and facilities were extremely clean and nice.
Headed Down
Played this course about 9 years ago and it was in pristine conditions, yesterday's play was not to their old standard.
Tee boxes and green's were both in poor condition, fairways definitely and in need of water.
Keeps declining
The condition of this course has to be in the worst condition of any course within a 200 mile radius.it is really sad how that course has been allowed to deteriorate.
On a somewhat side note. Apparently they shortened the Par 4 15th by 80 to 90 yards, but moved the old sign that states it is 396 yards and the card states 392 from the White tees. My son teed off with a couple putting on the green. My son nearly hit them with the tee shot. Now he is pretty long with the driver, but not that long. Being cheap can be dangerous.
Value Track for the Panhandle
The course is in really good shape considering it is in the heaviest part of a drought. The fairways are hard and dry, which allows your ball to roll. The greens roll true, but are not soft enough to keep your approach shot on the green.
As a solo player, I was able to complete the round in just over 2 and a half hours.
Went for a second round
Love the course! The staff are super friendly. Greens could use some work but all in all a good course especially for beginners
