Cabo San Lucas Country Club

I had a 1 pm tee time. After putting my clubs on a cart I never spoke to any other worker until exactly at my tee time when they let some other 4 person group have my time. They offered me the option of playing with a group of 3 at a later time. When I objected they said I could still play as a single but it would be later. I played with the group of 3 20+ minutes after my tee time. As it was, we finished our round in 5 hours and right after sundown. Not very professional. Not recommended.

Had amazing time. Course was in perfect condition. Greens were perfect. Loved the free food and drinks on the course. Will be back.

I thought that there were too many bumps on the greens from previous ball marks and that the cups were slightly higher than the grass causing balls to veer off when the putts were within 1-2 inches causing us to incur additional strokes both days that we played

The course was in bad shape on the tee boxes and fairway grass, the greens were slow and nowhere near championship caliber related to the cost of this round $250.00.

I played Quivira for $300 it is a Jack Nicklaus course and it was very challenging, well maintained and great course to play. Lots of hole on the water it is a beautiful destination!

Pace of play was ridiculously slow. Layout could use some improvement in maintenance and overall presentation.

Course was a little dry but I loved it my ball ran like crazy. Greens were true or maybe 🤔 I just liked them because I either 1 putt or 2 putt 🤣🤣

Course price is expensive at most should be $175 even that’s high.

I enjoyed playing & liked the layout. I played it years ago before the changes.

What they are charging for green fees is criminal. Definitely not worth what we paid

I saw a lot of negative reviews before booking and I was skeptical. Maybe the course has improved recently but I thought it was in great condition. It was a fun desert course with wide fairways. It was still challenging due to wind and sand traps. The service was great. Free range balls, good lunch, and they cleaned our clubs after our round. I would definitely return here.

We only played this course because it’s the only one where our resort “benefit” is valid, and that’s only reason we may play it again. The layout is fine. The conditions are embarrassingly bad. It apparently was built as part of a large residential development that ran out of money years ago. Some large houses along the course sit unfinished and likely abandoned. There is some new construction going on now that looks decent, but I doubt it’s nearly enough to generate the investment that the course needs for a complete overhaul. And the construction is loud and annoying during play.

The was a very nice golf course back in the day, but like many other courses these days, it has suffered from lack of maintenance. I had played there a couple years ago and it was really in bad condition, and yesterday showed only slight improvements in playability.

I did a previous review on this course and forgot to mention a couple of things that made the experience even worse.

Firstly, the water feature in the picture on golf now is completely dried up and looks like it has been for years.

Every water hazard on the course is dried up except for one that has a small amount of really gross looking water and the surrounding area seems to be a manure pit.

Also, if you can't handle the scent of really strong sewage smell, stay away from this course, as it is situated right next to a water waste facility and it has a very evil smell on at least a few of the holes.

Greens are very different throughout. Some fast, some super slow, and everywhere inbetween. Added some extra frustration.

I understand golf being pricey in Cabo but this course is so far from worth the value you get. Luckily I only paid $130 USD with golfnow app but I wouldn't play it again for $50 USD. Proshop staff were unfriendly but the rest of the staff were great.

Fun course conditions could be better.

Greens need attention.

Course has a great layout. Tee boxes and fairways were in decent shape. Greens were very slow and bumpy. Course can use some maintenance, especially the practice areas.

Staff was friendly everywhere except for the proshop. Seemed rude in there.

Greens were all over the place for speed. Some fast some super slow and everywhere in between.

Bunkers are not sand. Pretty much gravel and will damage clubs. One of the cheaper deals on the app in cabo but I would not recommend to anyone who likes good conditions. Still cost me almost double what I would pay at a way nicer course in edmonton.

Great resort golf. Challenging enough for the intermediate golfers. Scratch golfers may need more. I would return. 14 handicap. Great desert landscape.
