Palmilla Golf Club - The Mountain/Ocean Course
About
The One&Only Palmilla Golf Club boasts a 27-hole layout that is divided into three scenic nines: Mountain, Ocean, and Arroyo. Named after the defining features of their landscape, the nines are played in different 18-hole combinations. Jack Nicklaus designed all 27 holes, giving each a unique character but the same level of challenge. The Mountain/Ocean combination starts out with dramatic elevations. Expect some uneven lies and the occasional blind shot. The front nine offers a diverse mix of holes of varying lengths that all feature plenty of water and sand. The fifth hole is a memorable par 4 that plays over not one but two deep canyons to a green fronted by a deep bunker. On the back nine, the Ocean Course, golfers can enjoy a different view of the Sea of Cortez on every

The ocean nine might be the most scenic of the three loops at Palmilla. Photo submitted by JasonDeeganGA on 02/12/2014
Ocean/Arroya very scenic and challenging.
Course was very enjoyable to play. Had to wait a long time to get a golf cart which redueced our time on the driving range. Golf carts in poor condition and I would have expected better for the amount of green fees that are charged.
Beautiful course!
Played the Ocean-Arroyo course twice. Great vistas. Immaculate conditions everywhere. Incredible value ($80). Look for best rates beginning 30 days prior to playing.
Beautiful varied layout
Played all 3 nines over 2 days great layout and a variety of different looks. Great elevation changes, some waterfront views, and plenty of desert landscape comes into play. The stark contrast of the pristine turf and arroyo is beautiful.
Chicago Guy goes to Cabo
Very impressive track. Many different looks, beautiful views and vegitation. Greens were soft. Practice facilities were decent. Couple short par 4s that had good risk reward. Definately playing this course again when I return to Cabo.
Awesome course, awesome experience ...
I have been playing for only two years (novice/intermediate). It is my first time and didn't score well, but enjoyed the views and course. I played OCEAN AND ARROYO, Ocean is great to play, I like it better than Pebble beach with less wind and wider fairways. It's a lot of fun...
This course was worth playing.
The Clubhouse was a bit hard to find, but once there the staff was welcoming and attentive. We played Ocean/Arroya and conditions were perfect on both nines with some awe-inspiring views. Played from the appropriate tee box, it was not overly difficult and my wife found it to be very lady golfer friendly. I booked this as a prepaid hot deal so we played for half the price. What a deal!
Great views and nicely kept course.
Great value if you can play for under $90! It is a nice course, but there are better in the area...
Must be consistent driver or you will get killed. To be honest I play gold tees and it is very difficult from this length.
One of my favorites, play mountain/arroyo. Beautiful views
Excellent!
Excellent course. Do not miss if staying in the area!
Worth every penny of the $80 green fees via GolfNow
Beautiful course and well maintained. I played the Arroyo course first and it was awesome. The Ocean course had a tougher layout for the first time visitor as there are some targets to be hit to keep the ball in play. I played it in 10 strokes over the front 9 score due to lost balls or ob.
simply outstanding
My son and I played weekday twilight rate at 12:00 Noon excellant value pace of play excellant. A super experiance. played twice One of my favorite courses.
