Cabo Real Golf Club

Played Twilight for $175. Just got in 18. But the layout is great. A few tight drives (for a RTJR course) but other fairways more forgiving. Rolling holes, great views of the sea of Cortez. Course in very good shape, greens rolled fair. Staff is outstanding - great burgers at the snack shop. Range was very good as well. To me and my son, this combined desert golf (like Arizona) - elevated tee boxes, great vistas - with Hawaii - ocean views, nice breezes, perfect weather. We will be back.

One of Cabo's older courses.... A fun track. I have played 10-12 courses in Cabo and would rank it right in the middle. Staff was more friendly than most. Pace of play was good. A little expensive for what it is but not bad. Like most Cabo courses, lots of ocean views as well as one hole running up to the ocean. (Brittney Spears was staying in a house next to this hole). I'd come back as it was not stuffy and very laid back.

Really enjoyed my day at Cabo Real. Staff was super friendly, course conditions were excellent - not too firm, not too soft (e.g. CSL Country Club). Wind made some of the holes tough, especially at the top of the course (14, 15, 16). Worth the price of admission.

Golf course was great as usual. American staff seemed to be in much better moods then Mexican staff. Not sure why. Never noticed it before. Fairways were great. Greens were above average, but they’ve been better in the past. Would definitely continue to play this course.

This course had it all. The conditions were excellent including fast greens, well maintained fairways and tee boxes. The colorful plants and flowers throughout added an amazing beauty plus the views of the ocean, mountains and desert were spectacular. We played Palmilla two days before and while the views were very similar, for us, Cabo Real was more player friendly in terms of difficulty, the prices was significantly lower, the Marshall’s here we friendlier, concerned more with the enjoyment of our round over the pace of play. When you’re golfing in Mexico, you find less people are trying to hurry up and finish versus wanting to enjoy the course and have a fun day. Also, the driving range was as nice as I’ve seen, with bottled water in a huge ice chest, Calloway range balls, music playing as well as a well and accurately displayed yardage board for their very distinct targets.

Nice course, tough back nine, rental clubs playable, but substandard

As a single the starter let me off early ahead of a bunch of foursomes. Consequently was able to play in under 4 hrs

Get location inthe hhotel district. Course conditions are decent for the price in Cabo. Club rental is $35 for playable clubs.

Beautiful course, conditions were superb. Some very scenic holes and forgiving greens. They seem to have been recently aerated so not sure if they were un-ordinarily slow. In any case definitely helped my score. Greens were protected by numerous bunkers so accuracy was key. Only one water hazard on 18 that provided a narrow fairway otherwise most fairways were adequate for mid to high handicap players like myself. Definitely will come back again!
