Cabo Real Golf Club

First time at Cabo Real! Booked at $50 dollar Hot Deal. Can’t complain even if greens were just punched.

Front nine is way easier than the teeth of the back nine. Didn’t help my front kime 40 went to 45 on because GPS on cart went out and never played so was difficult to gauge distances.

Overall can’t beat the experience for the money.

Starters need to hold the tee box. We were waiting on every hole and after 9 holes the Marshall had a group skip a hole but we still waited on every hole through the end of the game. Five hours is too long.

OK, this was a great deal and wasn’t expecting much… But what an amazing Robert Trent Jones course.

Long, narrow and very difficult.

Bring your “A” game and if you don’t you’re still gonna have a blast. Clubhouse was minimal but very nice staff and plenty of drinks.

But the course layout was spectacular!

We’ll play this again and again over the years.

Don’t expect a great score unless you are a scratch golfer. But you will have a total blast!

Looking forward to Playing in the fall or winter when it’s a little cooler.

Amenities are no where near Cabo Del Sol, but course lay out is beautiful and greens where in great shape.

Loved the hole that was out on the ocean. All of the holes have amazing views of the ocean and the natural landscape. We will be coming again!

And the rental clubs are much more reasonable fairly high tech.

Awesome views and very well maintained- very friendly staff

Played in the afternoon at the hottest time of the day and still had a great round. Came closer to a hole in one than I ever have.

Cabo Real is one of our goto courses in Cabo. There always seems to be a decent discount online and even without it the layout and staff make this a great course for the money. And you can't beat the lunch at the food shack! Best fish tacos we had the entire trip. I'd go back there just for lunch :-)

Our first time to Cabo, so I was excited to find $50 golf when most of the prices are more like $200. The front nine was inviting with several holes down by the ocean. The back nine was much more difficult with elevation changes and canyons. The condition of the course was pretty good, the greens ran true but were challenging! My wife played with me and she couldn't get over all of the flowers, and we even saw an iguana on the course! The temps were hot but a nice breeze helped. The cart cooler was packed with water and ice, and the cart girl came by 2-3 times each side which was nice. We ordered lunch and picked it up at the turn. Will play again next time we get to Cabo!

Others have noted an increased difficulty on the back. I didn’t find the two sides any different in terms of difficulty. Elevation changes are subtle but make a difference in club selection. The course was in good condition. The views are amazing. The greens were slower than expected. I recommend this course if you want a relaxed round.

Starter was both professional and friendly. Let us know about who was in front of us in detail that was appreciated. I was injured but they let me ride along for free.
