Hard Rock Golf Club Riviera Maya

First time a course so challenging yet fun! A little expensive compared to Virginia but I've never played on such a beautiful course. As they say, you get what you pay for!

Probably the worst greens I've played on... which was disappointing.. I've played here alot of times years ago and greens were always in good shape . Love the layout but greens were brutal..

Had a good time time playing this course. They should offer better rates for those staying in PlayaCar. The course is fun…

Played with a group of various abilities. Everyone agreed the course rewards solid play and punishes mistakes. Small, well protected greens, run true. Just keep the ball in the short grass and enjoy the round. Carts are not in great condition, and pro shop is very pricey. Food and drink are better than average.

Played this course initially on 21st December and had an amazing experience. Food and drink was good too. Second experience was disappointing. When we arrived they had changed my tee time to an earlier one, so was rushed. No time for practice on the range. They didn't ask me to count rental clubs, although i did mention that there were missing covers off woods. Had a great round of golf, then was accused of losing a five wood, when they had put a four wood in the bag. How do you lose a five wood??? Kicked up a fuss, they were definitely trying it on. COUNT THE CLUBS AND COVERS and there will be no issues.

This golf course is not easy, mainly because it is a narrow golf course. You'll be rewarded when you hit it relatively straight and can quickly stop your golf ball on smaller greens guarded by sand bunkers plus water. I enjoyed the challenges presented, and I will tee up on this golf course again.

The starters are friendly, and the beer cart often comes around.

Every time I play this course I have a great time. It’s an all inclusive so unlimited food and drinks make it a fantastic experience.

Tough but fin jungle layout so bring plenty of balls, especially on the back 9.

The staff was fantastic. I was playing as a single so they sent me out on back 9 first so that I would have the front 9 to myself after the turn. Played the front 9 in 50 fun minutes.

What a beautifully maintained course with exotic animals roaming throughout the course. Tough, tough course with narrow fairways and a ton of sand bunkers. Quite a few holes to also avoid beautiful ponds. All in all for the money it costs it’s well worth it. With reservation you get all inclusive beverages, cart and meals throughout the course that make it even better. Well recommended for a newcomer to the golf game myself. Enjoy

Just a tough experience for the price we payed. Carts don’t have any amenities or power steering. Sloping, divot filled tee boxes. Choppy, firm greens. And a pace of play that took about 3 hours on the front nine.

Don’t recommend at all, and check elsewhere before you book.

Despite the 1pm tee time we were able to just get it in as the staff let us off at 12:40 from hole 10. If you book a twilight at 1pm be aware they close the course regardless at 4:30. Start on hole 10 and you play back 9 in roughly 2 hours and front we wizzed through in 80 minutes.

Tough course with well protected green. Nice staff.

We booked twilight time 1pm hoping we will easily finish by 5:30pm. First thing we were told by the pro shop guy that we have to stop playing at 4:30pm because they close at that time and again the started warned us that if we don't come back by 4:30 pm they will come get the power carts wich was very rude. Sun set is 5:30 pm but don't know why they close early.

Rental clubs could have been better. Putter surface dented. A little pricey. Carts in rough shape. Greens need work.
