About
Long and susceptible to the wind, White Stone Golf Club rolls through an impressive Hill Country-like setting with huge oak trees, lots of rocks, and loads of native oaks, cacti, yucca, and wildflowers.
Bunkers are everywhere on this 7,100-yard Jeff Brauer design, and water comes into play on about seven holes. The key to scoring well is keeping the ball below the hole, avoiding nasty downhill putts on the extremely fast greens. White Stone's par 5s are tough, and average golfers should probably play them conservatively and be happy just getting there in three, since three out of four are fronted by hazards and require carries.
On the front nine, no. 1 tests you early -- it’s a 555-yarder with a creek that crosses the fairway and forces a layup on the second shot. No. 9 is nice as well, a 360-yarder that should be played with a short iron to lay up in front of the creek. This hole features a nice dip in the center of the green that requires knowing the correct pin placement.
White Stone Golf Club's back starts strong like the front, opening with a 580-yard par 5 with a sloping fairway that is cut by the creek on two occasions. No. 11 is the best par 3 on the golf course -- a 200-yarder that plays dow hill over a creek and into a creek surrounded by bunkers.

New Management is Lacking
Played this course weekly over the last 6 years. We’ve seen it change ownership at least 3 times. The course management is lacking this time around. Slow play, allowing back to back groups of 5 - be ready for a 5-6 hour round any day of the week. Our last 2 outings have been on a week day afternoon and both took nearly 6 hours for a twosome to get through.
Good condition
Course is in really good condition, greens are always fast and hard but fair. Staff are always friendly and carts in good shape. Good putting green and good chipping green. Only a little thing I didn’t care for we had a very inexperienced group in front of us made pace go slow, the marshals came by and I told them about it but they didn’t change anything, oh well great day anyway!!!

Incredible Course
Loved everything about this course. Beautiful. Well kept. Plenty challenging. Friendly staff. Gives complimentary range balls before teeing off. Loved everything and you can’t beat the twilight hour prices. Will be back without question.

Overbooked
It’s a nice course to to play on a cheaper hot deal. Was frustrated getting there to find they were an hour behind schedule. Of course it was Memorial Day so it’ll always be busy but there a wrench in the day to be so behind schedule. The greens there are always sandy and unpredictable. Still a nice course and would go back on a day I’d expect it to not be as busy.

Outstanding course all around. Beautiful. Well kept. Plenty challenging but not impossible, and the twilight hour times are the best prices I’ve seen for a course of this quality. Would recommend 100%.

Great shape, fast greens,
Course is in great shape. Fairways are hard but green. . Greens are fast but true. Course is very fun yet challenging. #1 and #10 will make it break you.

Great track
Enjoyed the track, greens had been punched and rolled couple of weeks earlier so they where slick and challenging, but that's how golf goes.

Good condition so far
The course condition is coming along nicely this year.
The greens had been sanded recently but the ball still rolled fast and true. Tough pins that Monday.

Fair bites were a little thin but that's to be expected but had great tea boxes and I had Great Grains so overall they should be commended. But I think the best asset they had were the people that work there.

Great staff
Tony is very accommodating to golfers. He helped with a tee time snafu that was not booked properly with golf now. He got us on the course quickly and made the issue right. I am impressed that the staff here is so nice as well as honest. I forgot my range finder in my cart the week before and it was turned in by the cart employees. I was happy to get it back.

Greens were in great shape, trimmed well and no off color. Some fairways had dead grass patches or bare spots but playable. Grass just off the green in very good condition. Some sand traps had some larger stones and a few were over-filled with sand and dirt mixture. Overall nice design and fun to play. Players were spaced out with minimal waiting on 4/22 (morning round)

Great Course
Course and greens are in great condition. I played there several years ago, and i was amazed at how nice the course is now. Staff was very friendly. I'll be back often.

6hr Round
All you need to bring is your putter and beverage of choice for 6hrs because you will not be going anywhere faster. Marshall even has the audacity to come up to are group and ask if we even paid at the ninth hole. Pretty sure bc we had called trying to speed up the pace. Tee times are crammed back to back. 3 groups of 5 somes on a Saturday morning that turned out to be three different tee times booked together for a personal scramble. Which is fine if you keep pace which obviously they did not. Basically this course is a waste a complete day Party golf course.
