About
Long and susceptible to the wind, White Stone Golf Club rolls through an impressive Hill Country-like setting with huge oak trees, lots of rocks, and loads of native oaks, cacti, yucca, and wildflowers.
Bunkers are everywhere on this 7,100-yard Jeff Brauer design, and water comes into play on about seven holes. The key to scoring well is keeping the ball below the hole, avoiding nasty downhill putts on the extremely fast greens. White Stone's par 5s are tough, and average golfers should probably play them conservatively and be happy just getting there in three, since three out of four are fronted by hazards and require carries.
On the front nine, no. 1 tests you early -- it’s a 555-yarder with a creek that crosses the fairway and forces a layup on the second shot. No. 9 is nice as well, a 360-yarder that should be played with a short iron to lay up in front of the creek. This hole features a nice dip in the center of the green that requires knowing the correct pin placement.
White Stone Golf Club's back starts strong like the front, opening with a 580-yard par 5 with a sloping fairway that is cut by the creek on two occasions. No. 11 is the best par 3 on the golf course -- a 200-yarder that plays dow hill over a creek and into a creek surrounded by bunkers.

Fast Greens

Great course value
Lots of good courses in the area but for the cost the quality of the course can’t be beat. The staff is friendly and they offer water bottles and towels in the carts. The course is a good balance of challenging but not to difficult that high handicap golfers don’t enjoy themselves

Great Course
We had an enjoyable day at Whitestone Golf Club. It was a hot day out, but the golf cart had an ice cooler with complimentary water bottles. There were plenty of cold water refill stations on the golf path to stay hydrated.
At the counter, we had mentioned about wanting to get a bucket of practice balls. I turns out they give you a complimentary bag of 20 golf balls to practice with, which was the perfect amount to get loosened up enough. It was quite a surprise because I'm used to having to pay extra to practice!
The Marshal was extremely energetic and loved his job. Whenever we would run into him on the cart path he would offer suggestions on how the play that particular hole.

Break in the weather- Golf Time
Today the Weather was rewarding, Benbrook Golfers got a needed break. After A torching Summer the Rains came just in time to drop the temperature.
Played the course and it was enjoyable and challenging.
I played to stay in the Fairway, if I could have Putt better my Scorecard would be lighter. Well Its all ways next time. Still had fun at the revamp course. Excellent turn around since last time we played here. Carts, towels, bottle water very rewarding. i recommend Whitestone Golf course any time of the year.

Fun course to play
Whitestone was a fun course in good condition. Staff was very friendly as well.
You get what you pay for
Whitestone is a great course to just get out and play on. This is an enjoyable and laid back course friendly for all players. Obviously it is hot and dried out like everything else but it has finally caught up to the course this summer. The greens are browning and bumpy and almost impossible to putt on in some spots. The bunkers have turned to dust bowls and the fairways are what you would expect firm and sandy. For $25-$30 Whitestone is a good place to play but it is not worth more than that and you get exactly what you pay for here.

Great Course
The course is in great shape. The greens are fast, but put true. They do not have pure senior tees, but a mix of white and red, depending on hole handicap, is very fair.
The staff is great and the beer is cold!
