Paid $120 to play a below average course in the shape it’s in . The fairways are decent and have potential but the greens are horrible And very inconsistent if you can find one that actually has good grass and not half dirt . There’s much better courses out there for this kind of money

Granted, there was a freeze recently, but the course is dead as a nail. Greens brown as refried beans and fairways as soft as a tennis court.

First time I played Tapatio, they were putting the roofing on the condos adjacent to what is now #10 tee. So I've seen it at its best and its worst. I'd say it's at about 85% as good as it's ever been, which means they're charging more than it's worth. I know it's a Covid thing, with green fees being up all over the place. Doesn't mean I have to like it. This should be a $50-$55 weekday course and $60-$65 on the weekend. But the new facility is nice and the staff were pleasant.

I have played this course many times in the past. I hadn’t been there in about a year. The greens are in terrible shape. Not sure what happened

Found a last minute hot deal and non of my golf buddies could make it so I paid for a single. Driving range was good and practice areas were well attended to with range balls and chipping area balls. I warmed up quicker than expected so I went to the starter about 20 mins early. He sent me off on the front behind a 4 some. I caught the group on hole two and the ladies were playing quickly but waited for me to finish to let me go ahead since I was a single. Next group of 4 did the same. I encountered 3 groups of four and all were very courteous and let me play through. Course was in great shape and the greens had a few bumps from some not supposed to be there grass that was growing on them. Overall it was a great round with a very fun course and in really good shape. The people I encounter made this far more enjoyable than most of my Sunday afternoon rounds in San Antonio.

I love the layout. Always plays in under four hours.

Played this course over 20 years at least once a year. Overall condition not good. Mud on cart paths walking up to tee box. Greens not good. Overall conditions poor. Very disappointed

We have played this course before and usually enjoyed it but this year the course is not in very good shape. Think they forgot to mow, the greens have weeds growing on them. The pigs are rutting out there so a lot of torn up faraways.. overpriced for the condition of the course. Would not recommend it this year.
