Eagle Lakes Golf Club

Not really sure what to say. This course was in poor condition, greens sucked, fairways were terrible. Pace of play atrocious.

ALSO. DO NOT PLAY HERE IF YOU ARE YOUNGER THAN 30!!!! The staff had zero respect for me and my friend who are younger than their average age of 75. Treated us as if we had never picked up a club before. I've been playing golf for 15 years and been around more prestigious places than this. I know etiquette. They cherish their $12 course and clubhouse as if it were Augusta National. Cart guy was extremely condescending when my friend thought our tee time was 4 minutes earlier than it was, because he assumed we were late

And we didn't even tee off until 10 minutes past our set tee time. Was scolded twice by different starters for minor things, such as moving the cart up before being told the layout of the course (like I won't figure that out when I play. Though I appreciate the gesture, the delivery was disrespectful). Second starter tells me not to hit a second ball off the first tee, even though it's a provisional. Overall they think of young people as ignorant in this "Prestigious Course" bc they worship it like a PGA course. Don't go here if you want to be respected for paying money at a course.

We had a later tee time due to last minute booking. We paid to play 18 holes and knew we would not make it all the way through in 2.5 hours but would not have imagined we would only make it to the 6th hole. Groups ahead of us were the hold up and in my opinion someone should have had them fall back and let other faster moving people ahead of them. We spent over an hour of our time just sitting waiting to tee off. Never experience anything like it. The course was beautiful at least the 5 holes we saw and lots of wildlife. Staff friendly. I wouldn’t recommend later tee time since if you get stuck like us you won’t get far through.

This course renovated their fairways this summer. They look horrible, so I can’t imagine what it was prior. It’s a good play for under 50$ if you can play 18 in time. Greens are suffering there’s more green sand than turf.

Do not understand the bad ratings.My best deal on this golf trip to Naples and as a bonus joined cool guys from Chicago.and have fun with them

Not the first or last time at this course. We saw 20 gators which is fun in itself! Pace of play was great and the layout is manageable yet challenging. A little bit of a drive from downtown Naples but the value is there!

I frequent this course for value and proximity to Marco Island. I got much more than I bargained for during my latest visit. The track was in really good shape, better than in previous visits. I also got a chance to play along side with one the Eagle Lakes staff. Harlan was very welcoming and fun to play and ride with. I am looking forward to my next round at Eagle Lakes.

Course is a nice layout with many changes and improvements to the back nine. Friendly and helpful staff from the moment you get there to departure. Great value!

New grass, better green than advertised, only a few tee boxes were bad. Foursome played in 3h45min, no waiting.Carts are brand new. Definitely an improving course but still some work needed

I don't understand the 3 stars this place has. They've done a lot of work. It's pretty nice. Challenging but fair.

Going to this course anticipating the worse but the course was pretty good, greens were good except 2, same as tee boxes and fairway were green and in very good condition. You could see that new grass was still growing in some area still getting up to par but generally no issue and only had to play prefer lie a few time. Bunkers were good. Overall an above average course at a decent price.
