Eagle Lakes Golf Club

The only disappointing thing at this course was that we had to play the front nine twice because the back nine wasn’t open yet. Kudos for the rejuvenation of this course. Everything was much better and a real pleasure to play.

We enjoyed playing this course. Unfortunately, there were only 9 holes open, so we had to play the same 9 twice. This wasn't disclosed on the reservation. We were placed with another player which was also unexpected. In this case, the player was a very nice man and it worked out fine. However, we weren't sure why this was necessary, as there were limited people on the course.

Just reopened after big facelift remodel entire 18 not fully open thus ~6 holes played twice. Water on almost every hole, strong wind made accuracy a must. Fairways great shape and greens running slow from reseeding work. Was fun outing many big gators edge of fairways be careful.

Drove about an hour to course got there fairways were all dried out actually burned nobody told us. For 75.00 it was definitely not worth it!!! Staff said they stopped watering and will replant in a couple of months!!!

Do NOT go to this course right now. They have intentionally "burned out" all fairways and rough ateas to re-seed.. GolfNow did not note this on their website.

Worst conditions we have ever seen on any course anywhere.

Course will hopefully be back to normal in the fall.

The fairways have been killed to be ready for a complete reno. Off the tee be sure to club down to avoid over running the fairway!

The greens a receptive, fast and true. Fun to okay on.

Fairways all burned advised they stopped watering and are going to reseed. They told us when we got there definitely not worth $75.00.

They killed the fairways. Going to kill them again. So all the fairways were brown and dead.

This was done to be reseeded in the near future, but was not informed before we arrived .

The greens were ok.

Price should have reflected the condition but didn't.

We played because we were there.

They are closing soon to redo the tee boxes and fairways. So the fairways are brown, hard and fast.

The greens however are in great shape!

Greens and tees were in good shape..Fairways were dry, hard and ,for a short hitter , a long run..most drives ran 20-40 yrds..Hitying off fairways was like hitting of a driving range mat..

I’ve been golfing at this course for several years, great layout and has a lot of potential if they invested $$$ into it.

Well be aware maybe they are cause they burned/killed the grass for reseeding next month!

Right now tough dried out hard conditions… only worth $40-$50 to play it in these conditions and course will be closing for five months when they reseed!

The good: Staff was vey friendly. Course has a great layout with lots of trouble left off the tee.

The bad: the course seems to rely on rain to grow turf. It appears it hasn’t rained in a long time. I did not see any irrigation on the fairways or in the rough. The entire course is hardpan without any turf. The only green turf on the course was the tee boxes and greens. That is it.

I golfed here because it was less expensive than some of the other courses in the area. Had I known the course conditions prior to booking, I would have spent the extra money and golfed somewhere else.

The fairway grass was applied with grass roundup and the greens were really rough. Not impressed with conditions as they should have stated they were redoing the fairways.

Love playing at Eagle Lakes Golf Course! Also Cub House is very nice with good food! Prices are very fair!

Bad fairways, greens are not in a good condition, not worth the money

We played last year this course several times and were looking forward to play it again this year. The disappointment was high as the course is in very very bad condition. We have never ever played a course so dry and brown!! Absolutely not worth the money!
