About
Eagle Lakes Golf Club is situated just minutes from Olde Naples and Marco Island. It lives up to its name, providing a round of golf accompanied by a pair of bald eagles that call this stretch of the Everglades home, along with an abundance of other wildlife. The course design represents classic Florida golf tradition. There is no shortage of water anywhere on this golf course, it comes into play in one form or another on every hole. They may all have water but that might be the only common characteristic they have. Every hole presents a unique challenge. The golf course is wide-open, which also makes it subject to the prevailing winds. Eagle Lakes Golf Club's final hole is a lengthy par 5 with water surrounding the fairway and all along the left side.

Golfer Reviews
slightly better
After the redo on the course last fall it needs some time for the turf although, I will say it was better than previous years There was long cut grass within 10 yards of the green that should been recut or blown off if (it was new cut grass laying on the turf your trying to establish) in multiple areas if you don't take care of what your striving for, you will never get there
Slow Slow Slow
the greens are slow............they were redone last summer and perhaps that is why they keep them at the current speed. maybe they could roll them without cutting them too short. But, be prepared to hit it hard.
Nearly all fairways in poor condition. Greens slow (stint of 6+/-), bump and grainy and in several cases painted green. Apparently this course was redone, prices jacked up but there is no value here to golfers. Back 9 better but not by much. All four players came away with the view that they would not play again.
Value
Good value in a community (Naples) that has fewer and fewer “public” options.
Nice Layout
Some challenging holes, great pace of play, and wonderful staff. Located near Marco where golf in season is at a premium.
Cart crew
Great and friendly cart crew always helpful make you feel at home . Thanks frank see you guys next year!!
Horrible conditions !
Don’t go!!! Overpriced, rude staff and greens had sod and cut out on greens that were 15 feet by 15 feet big! This was on about 6 greens!
Condition of the terrain
Beautiful fairways, greens well taken care of, looks easy but is challenging nevertheless. We enjoyed playing it.
Good layout
The course itself is a good layout and some holes are a little challenging. The course isn’t in the best shape it can be but getting 100 inches of rain this past year really didn’t help any courses in the area . The fairways are fine the greens need work but it’s ok! If you’re not playing in a tournament just enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature. Place your ball where you can hit it and have fun.
Pace of play on the front 9 was pretty slow but opened up on the back 9.
