Course condition biggest drawback. Needs more water, better grass.

I've played this course before with visitors when I can't get on my home course. This for sure was the worst I've experienced for this course. Eagle Lakes has never been a well maintained course but this was the worst I've ever experienced. In the past at the least the cost was below average tee pricing for Naples but the current high cost is ridiculus especially for the condition of the course, The course design is reasonable with lakes on just about every hole but again the conditions are just so poor. The fairways have more mud and weeds on them then grass the greens not good bit not as bad. I played with some local homeowners the said they will redo parts of the course this year but that is to be seen, Bottom line I can not recommend this course other any circumstances and hopefully I never play this course again,

Fairways loomed like an elementary school field. Awful conditions on all holes. Tee boxes and greens just a bit better.

Who lets a five some out at 9:40 on a Sunday morning.

I have played here for the last 3 seasons in February. It seems the fairways have just gotten worse every year yet the price keeps going up. I played with 3 strangers yesterday and the first thing one of them said to me is “get ready for the back 9, there’s no grass anywhere” and he wasn’t exaggerating by much. For 180 dollars, it’s a crime. I paid 109 twice this trip and was just mildly disappointed. But the layout is decent and the greens are good enough (outside of a couple). Pace was largely fine, but they will cram in members wherever they can, tee time or not, so get prepared to have a couple extra groups in there.

Played last year similar poor conditions. Was hoping that they put some money into the fairways and greens. The fairways are infested , it’s a dirt track . Understand its prime season and a public course .

After 3:00p price should be much lower as extremely difficult to get in 18 holes.

The course was in ok condition. The Tees offered were good for our group which included beginners and

regular golfers. Lots of water hazards and wild life.

I would play it again.

Overall the course need some tender loving care. It's tight with lots of hidden water hazards. And lots of gators. Greens were ok but like the rest of the course, could use improvement. It was their busiest day for the year thus far. Pace of play was slow 4:20. The cost at 115$ was high but that's what you get in Naples during the busy season.

I beleive the grounds keeper forgot the grass this year. Terrible conditions, especially for $200.00. This is a $100.00 course in these conditions.
