Eagle Lakes Golf Club

First time experience was great. My wife and I were sharing a bag and staff let us borrow another golf bag to make play easier. Very friendly clubhouse staff as well making for a fun experience. Definitely recommend this public course!

I loved the layout and the people were very nice, but the condition of the course was very disappointing. Most of the greens were just ok, but many were bumpy and had bad spots which made them difficult to putt. The fairways, although firm and fast, were full of weeds and not much real grass from which to hit.

Our threesome included a 10, 15 and 25 handicaps ( honest handicaps without mulligans) and can golf 9 holes in an hour and a half. The starter gave us at least four admonishments before we even started similar to “ make sure you keep up “ Have to think this is a condescending attitude by the starter because we are female. He did not say this to any other groups . We waited on every single hole for the two groups in front of us- either on the tee box and/ or fairway. They need work on treating everyone with respect including women. The course is not well manicured but has a few interesting holes. There are better public courses in the area. Skip this one .

Eagle Lakes has lots of water so if you play infrequently like me, bring extra balls. Saw some large alligators olongapo the banks. When in doubt stay right and you should do well. Water was mostly on the left. Friendly staff, got out a bit early and the pace was good. Rarely had to wait to tee off.

Ok Course. Needs to grow more grass in the fairways.

I played Eagle Lakes with a Friend last week. Course is designed reasonably well with many water ponds through out. Not crazy tough but enough of a challenge. Course is not in very good shape, fairways need much work in the middle areas and on either side is very poorly maintained, The greens are ok but also need work. The course personnel are friendly and were helpful. Didn't use the off course services but overall the course is really way over priced based on the maintenane performed and the end results. I won't play this course again at any where near $170 a round. There lucky local Naples courses are higher priced and they are the best you can get with reasonable tee times. I can not recommend them and again would not play them again.

Eagle Lakes is a wonderful golf course. Challenge it many tee box choices. This time we actually had a bald Eagle on the first green to greet us.

Pace of play was slow and the ranger seemed agitated with us when we informed them that the group ahead was a problem. Water stations had no cups and saw the beverage cart from a distance only once. Club house staff were great and the course while rough was challenging and for the price I cant complain. I would play again bringing some water and hoping for a better group ahead.

Love the place normally, but it looks like you need to have a couple of course rangers out there. Teed off Friday at 4:15 and it took 95 minutes to play 5 holes. The sixth tee was backed up with our group and 2 groups behind me. I was paying lousy and had enough. Since I was near the clubhouse, I just walked off the course. My wife was supposed to pick me up at 6:30 and no way we would be done by then anyways. The people working the bags are great!!
