PERFECT
For the price the greens and fairways are always in great condition. Couldn’t really ask for any better. Thanks
Worth a trip
It is located on the military base. Maintenance crew does a great job at maintaining the course. Hole number 2 left side had lots of trees that the took the time to cut back to open the fairway. Cart staff employee Roger does a great job at managing the fleet of carts. The range and practice facilities are great. Can not say a bad word about the course. It will make you use every club and shot in your bag.
Challenging Holes - Slick/Sloped Greens
First time to play. Several holes where you cannot see the green from the tee. Many of the greens were sloped - they were quick and very difficult to hold - you have to hit it high or have great spin. The greens roll great, but they were scary quick. Fortunately there are very few bunkers. This course shows that bunkers are not essential to have a difficult course with challenging greens.
Also, during the summer I am sure hundreds of balls are lost in the deep woods.
I look forward to playing here during the summer or early fall when the grass is green and somewhat plush.
The staff are friendly beyond the norm.
Great place to play!
Windy and fast
My son and I had a great time playing this course. It was windy and the greens were playing very fast. The only complaint is that the sand traps are not in very good shape - pretty hard with grass growing freely. Fortunately, we were only in them a couple of times.
The staff, especially the lady in the clubhouse was extremely nice!
Still a great value for a challenge.
Course is in great shape as usual. The greens are still extremely quick. I always 3putt here more than any other course. The only thing I wish would be improved is the bunkers. They need a bit more sand and they need to be raked more often. They are pretty hard.
Bunkers
The overall appearance is disappointing. The prices went up and te quality of the course is down. I have never seen the course in the shape. If there ways to attach pictures, I would see you could see them for yourself.
